I don't know whether it's me who look younger than my age (23) or my younger brother who look older than his age (17), but people always got mistaken thinking that he is my older brother

I don't really know, when I have beard many people think I'm older than 18, and with sunglasses on I look 30  But my eyes still look very childish and sweet ()

I look much younger, sometimes I like it, sometimes I am pissed about it. A waiter asked me for an ID when ordering vodka for my 21st Birthday, that was kinda embarrassing :o

Pretty close to my age, maybe a little younger. Could be my blue eyes, blond hair and babyface. But the receding hairline doesn't help

When I was younger people used to tell me I looked older, now they mistake me for someone younger. I don't know whether they're just being polite or maybe I just look exactly the same as I did 5 years ago.

I look and always looked a lot younger than I actually am. Despite I´m 21 many unknown people don´t belive that I´m actually (already 3 years) an adult. If I would be a chinese gymnast I would be suspected of faking my age.

A random person asked me for an ID when ...

Happens to me every time:p Once a woman in a shop asked me when I will be 18 even after showing my ID to her and she needed to count my age on a calculator:facepalm:

I have soft features, so people sometimes think that I'm a bit younger, but I don't get an impression that I look any different than other 27 yo girls. I have good genes, I'm not aging badly, so I actually don't care at all.

My age with beard, a bit younger without.

I got IDd buying a lottery ticket the other day. You have to be 16 for that, I'm almost 22. :o

So basically everyone looks younger lol. That doesn't make much sense though, maybe some ppl here are doing a bit of wishful thinking :oh:

Yes, it is, people are often deluded. Half of my friends think that they look like teens. And when I say "No, you don't look like a teen at all", they give me a bitchy look. But it's not an insult.

That happens to me too. Apparently if the person behind the counter thinks you look under 25 then they have to ID you :o

The funny thing is, I never got IDd when I was buying them at 16/17 :sobbing:

It's really hard to tell how old a person is nowadays tbh, a lot of teenagers don't look much different from people in their early-mid 20s so saying someone who's in their early 20s looks like they're in their teens and vice versa isn't that much of a bombshell.

Dominic
Oct 30th, 2012, 03:47 PM
Well I think that's cause the teenagers grow taller and faster nowadays, they look older, not the other way around lol

Well yeah but if you're aware of that then you might see a 20-something year old and you wouldn't be sure if it's actually a 20-something year old or just a teenager who looks/dresses/acts older

Dominic
Oct 30th, 2012, 04:48 PM
Sure but either way, he would still look 20 something

Guess it depends on your perspective, a lot of my friends from school look pretty similar to what they did when they were 16 but when we were 16 nobody really thought they looked 20-odd at the time  There's no real distinction between teens/early 20s, that's what I meant.

I know what I mean anyway :ras:

It depends, when I'm at work people say I look younger and when I'm partying or at college people say I look older. :)

Oh it's the opposite for me! At work, they mostly say I look 25 and at school they all think I'm 20-21. In parties they usually say 25-26 cause I usually wear tanktops and ppl say muscles makes a man look a bit older :(

I get Id'd all the time. I still wouldn't know how old I look to other people though.
