"Over the Rainbow," preferably not an overblown version. Still can make me cry. Also, "Somewhere (a place for us)." Oh mah gawd, I'm tearing up already!

This is a nice instrumental version of the first (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CHzdyJps6M) and then a version of the second. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emuVLVylBiA)

Not nearly all songs I or anyone else likes are ballads, BTW. A true ballad must "tell a story". (Some of those great Dylan songs are more like random lyrics, where they're virtually whole other tunes after the chorus; thus not really ballads). Joni Mitchell wrote the song on the right below, turned into a hit by the muse of the Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young track "Suite Judy Blue Eyes".

I thought it a minor crime that Stevie only had 2 songs from their '75 self-titled though I understand why since she was a brand-new member at the time.

No, SS was not on any album until a compilation in the 90's. (It was intended for Rumours). I never cared much for Dreams, and would have left that off instead. Stevie's most noted contribution to the self-titled album was the still famous song about "the witch not named Christine O'Donnell" :o as in Rhiannon. She was also the subject of an underrated song from the album, her newly ex-bf's Lindsey Buckingham's rendition of Blue Letter.
