Nope. As being LordRena's bitch her destiny is to have her wig snatched once again.

Rest Maria!

She's destined to win every tournament she enters till the end of her career, isn't she?

All the Sharahaters may suck after women's final this year, as they did after FO

Kvitty will trash that bitch in the quarters, now that she has stockpiled enough karma.

Don't disappear for a week after their match crying

Funny comparison. Well, she's one of the favourites, but I don't think it's more than that. Similarly, I don't expect Djokovic to stop winning slams now to completely mimic Hingis.

In 1999 Agassi had a stroke of luck when his nemesis Sampras pull out of the draw.
Looks to me though that Maria's nemesis Serena is very much on her way to the final.
So, barring Maria playing the match of her life in the final, no, she won't be repeating Agassi's feat.
But I hope she does. She is a good enough player to warrant 5 slams.

No, according to the Agassi schedule, the crystal meth would've been back in 2010. Maybe we finally have an explanation for how she managed to lose to Kirilenko. :o

It would be the best thing if this happen.

Anyway, she will only win this if Serena loses before the final, if they meet in the final, it will be another humiliating match and Shrapova will cry again.

As always when it comes to Maria it all depends on Serena. Unless something happens to Serena there is no chance, as Maria's chances to beat Serena in a match again are probably something below 0%. If Serena is out of the way only then does she have a fighting chance to go all the way. Even if Serena does lose, she might well need to avoid Azarenka too, there are a number of others like Kvitova, Na, who could beat her, and she often loses early in a big surprise at the Open anyway.

Ironically Maria probably cost Serena the U.S Open title last year with her bad loss. Her draw to the final was super smooth including her bitch Stosur who she would have disposed of, and a Maria vs Serena final is just a certain Serena win.

That's a funny similarity, but she's got a really tough draw. She would have to go through Kvitova, Azarenka, and Serena. They are all playing their best, and she seems to have 0 chance against Serena even if she clears the first 2 hurdles.

I should add that Petrova and Safarova are playing well. Neither of those two match up well against Maria though.

actually Stosur is the only one who has more wins than Maria over Serena in her career in current top 20.
What chances do have Azarenka, Kvitova , Radwanska vs Serena with their 1-15 ?

Serena is in the best possible place for Maria to have her, unless she were not in the draw at all. In the other half. Maria isnt certain to have to beat Serena for the title, as Serena isnt certain to be in the final. If we exclude Serena's initial comeback slam at Wimbledon 2011 she has been in the final of 3 of her 5 major events since coming back so based on that there is a 40% chance of Maria not having to beat Serena in the final if she gets there. Azarenka is also not in her quarter atleast, and there is a chance Azarenka could lose before the semis, especialy with how Stosur is playing. Petra Kvitova hasnt played a single good match vs Maria all year really, in addition to the fact she hasnt won any of their meetings this year. All in all not the worst situation for Serena if she can keep progressing forward.

Serena still probably not beatable even here , but she is playing not even close to what she was doing at Olympics.....
