Hibi is in a much better half of the draw. She should make the final.
I think Abaza coulc come through the 4th section and play Roma for a spot in the final.

I know Nika is ranked, something in the 600s. I think she only really plays US hardcourts seasonally. Has had a terrible summer, however.

Mueller is top 500 (noticed her when playing with and against Glushko last month), so obviously Hibi is there too.
Was a bit surprised to find out that the former is 24 and the latter is only 16!

The results of the young Japanese definitely show promise and a top 100 potential.

No - this is the 3rd year and the winner of this wildcard is yet to win a single match in USO qualifying. Incidentally, this is Mueller's second time winning it. She seems to be in good form this week, but I don't rate her chances highly at the Grand Slam qualifying level.
