China? USA? Others?

It's a very close horse race between China and USA right now.

It's gonna be either China or USA. Most likely USA because the Chinese-dominated sports are almost over, I think.

My thoughts exactly. GBR have outdone themselves so far, yet are struggling to keep above half China and USA's gold count.

I'm guessing USA.

Not really. Conversely, a lot of the US-dominated sports are over. China still has a few left in table tennis, diving, possible taekwondo.

USA still has basketball and beach volleyball too though. But I dunno, I'd love China to be 1st though.

That's 4 gold medals total though. China still has a shot at women's beach volleyball too.

It all depends on the results on the track for the U.S. I think China might edge the U.S. out but we'll see.

I think USA will win the gold medal of men 110m hurdles. Then those African countries have been challenge USA on track.

USA has more. Chance especially after China flunked a diving gold. China still has table tennis though.

The US hasn't been doing especially well so far in athletics either. (:cheer::oh:) But they still have team sports, whereas China doesn't - women's football, volleyball + that stupid beach volleyball, basketball both men's and women's, women's waterpolo, and probably more, can't remember right now.
