Is anyone else surprised how she got so many different outfits before she was a household name? She had greater variety in 2002-03 than she did after she won Wimbledon in 04 :lol:

So many great dresses throughout the years! I want something different and unusual a la Wimbledon 2008 this year too! :drool:
I found these dresses while looking up past outfits. Apparently these were proposed dresses for Maria at the AO in 08. One is what she wore but in a different colour, and the other is completely different:

I actually really like the different colour scheme on her, especially with her hair in aside part ponytail like that :hearts:. But apparently Hantuchova wore it for some warm up tourny and it had epic sweat marks :lol:

Well it officially belongs to 2012 season because she wore it in Beijing and YEC only in pink/gray. She could wear it for Brisbane as she wore her 2012 YEC outfit for an exho prior to the AO, but then again, she could wear something new. It would be nice to see her in yellow in Brisbane because she'll be wearing a yellow dress at the AO too :cheer: Either way, I'm so excited to see her AO dress :hearts:

I hate it how Nike has already released men's outfits until Fall 2013, but we haven't even seen the women's Line :sobbing:
I already saw Fed/Rafa's outfits for FO and summer, yet there isn't a single pic of the outfits for WTA players :awww:

This is a fantastic thread - Thank you! - It strikes me how little her appearance has changed since 2003 - the visor (except for some exceptions) and always the ponytail - It's like her special trademark
This is what I've done a while ago. It's a collection of nearly every outfits Maria has worn until the end of 2012, don't count her junior outfits and the yellow one that she wore in Milan and Brisbane, it's new so I haven't added it yet.

I always loved the pics from this event. I'd love Maria to put on again similar outfits some time on the tour: in micro skirts and short tops she would be magic.

Interesting - in her 2009/2010/2011 pics she doesn't look very confident compared to her 2004/2005/2006 pics where she's constantly smiling etc. I'm glad the 2012 pics look very similar to the 2004/2005/2006 ones.
