I have been watching a few films of this genre lately, so what do you think are the best examples?

I like Clueless, Mean Girls, Thirteen, Save The Last Dance, 10 Things I Hate About You and Freaky Friday (yes - I actually like Lindsay Lohan!).
Also Show Me Love aka Fucking Amal - and Lila Says (overseas films).
I have Bring It On, on DVD but I haven't got around to watching it yet.
I have also seen Eurotrip but I wouldn't exactly call it a great film. I only really like the fact that it has Michelle Trachtenberg in it.

I don't know why I watched it but it was actually good. :o

I haven't seen that one. Actually I just noticed most of my movies listed are about 7-15 years old. I guess not too long after I stopped being a teenager I stopped watching these types of movies.

I also like Mean Girls, but I think that's because I'm gay.

Bring it On is a gem.

Empire Records too.

Heathers is the best, although I wouldn't consider it a "teen film", per se.

SAY ANYTHING!!! And of course all the John Hughes films (especially The Breakfast Club and my personal favorite, Some Kind of Wonderful). And as others have mentioned, Heathers, even though it's more of an anti-teen movie.

Bring It On is a CLASSIC.
