Welcome to Carlsbad, USA! We are now into the second week of the US Open Series and only a month and a bit until the US Open, but more importantly only 2 more weeks to the Olympics. One of these players is the girl who scored the upsets last week is American, Coco Vandeweghe, she will be partnering with Croat Mirjana Lucic in the doubles draw this week. The top seeds are American pair Liezel Huber and Lisa Raymond, who will be looking for some wins this week. As the second week of the US Open series begin, it is time for the players to get a real warmup before the US Open. Making the competition here in Carlsbad all the more important.
