As much as I love Poland I don't think this is a distinction unique to Poland. Slavs in general have extremely good genes lookswise. Of course good looking doesn't infact make one a better person than anyone else. But it is a blessing of sorts. To be good looking does endow a person with a degree of power. A beautiful person can make a stranger happy by just giving them a smile, something it would be much harder for a more average looking individual to do.

I do know living in London there are people here from all over the world. But so many of the most beautiful women in london are from central Europe. There is a strong tendency in society to put the beautiful on pedestals. And I'm guilty of that as much as anyone. But we do need to remind ourselves that beautiful people are no better or worse than the rest of us and have the same mix of good and bad traits as we all do. I say all this for myself as much as anyone. So while there are a lot of very beautiful central Europe women in London I do try to remind myself that although it is nice that they double up very well as eye candy and I am genuinely grateful for that, at the end of the day they are also human beings no different than the rest of us.
