well done Kanepi, but seems like Woz is in good shape as well.
Very hard match between them

From 2-4 down in the first Kaia was solid.
Some really good rallies in this match, both girls were going after it pretty well. It's nice to see Kaia getting through some potentially tricky early rounds fairly comfortably.
Good luck against Caroline!

Kanepi won 10 of the last 11 games....Should be a good one against La Borz...Hope Kanepi takes the bitch down...as long as she constructs the points, doesn't try to hit thru the wall and doesn't become an error machine...The serve seems to be "on" right now...Kanepi has more clay wins this year than La Borz and La Borz hasn't had to play a hard opponent yet who is in form...Definitely a QF opportunity for Kanepi here...Hope she takes her chances

Not really bulldozed:lol: Kaia did to Irina-Camelia what others have been doing to her before: letting them lead a little bit, but then just take it away in the end of the set.
1st set was nice. Many long rallies. It's a nice preparation for the match against Wozniacki, though it's not hard to predict who'll win most of them:(
2nd set had much more errors. So it wasn't so great.

no bulldozing here, but kaia played solid under pressure.
is it just me, but woz seems to have lost weight. she looked damn fit today. kaia should have the upper arm on clay, but only if she can keep her head cool, stick to her gameplan and not double fault at critical moments.

well done, Kaia :) now Wozniacki! I'm sure she can do it, if she manages to keep her head cool.
