Anna! I wouldn't call it a 'generation' per se because the Spice Girls consisted of just Anna and Martina!

question: did the fact these players were playing one another so often and pushing (intensity wise not game style) to get better a reason why that gen was strong compared to the current gen?

LOL
Serena's RG 1st round loss is beginning to have far reaching consequences: she's now considered to be belonging to a generation named after two other players

I'm actually not joking. She was part of the Graf era, the Hingis era and the Henin era. Only Peak Pierce :hysteric:

And Anna K is obviously Posh Spice

That leaves us with Hingis - which SG nick is best fit for her? Hmmm... it must be Baby Spice (hint: 1999 :oh:

Serenidad/Smitten, before an exho. Someone accidentally called Mythtina "L. Hingis" and the "L" became "Legend" from there.

Hingis was my fave. She was the ultimate "mind over matter" player. Perfect strategy to counteract all of the big-hitters.

Venus Williams is one of the all time greats, unlike Sharapova who had that 'one good season'. She was recently voted the 8th best women's tennis player of all time dipshit.

Just because she's getting old isn't a reason to hate her and want to stamp on her legacy. Everyone ages so I don't understand the mentality you're using.

It's not like she's beating your fave at all the Grand Slams... Why the hate?
