I was itching to vote for Cheryl out of sheer devilment!

I went for Lily - cheeky, ironic and witty. Plus I'm bored with Adele.

Where the hell is Leona Lewis?

Mary Cherry.

Either Joss Stone's or Ellie Goulding's, but went with Joss because Under The Sheets is nowhere near as good as some of Ellie's other songs.

I'll go with Kate Nash. I don't listen to it by choice or anything but the lyrics made me laugh at least.

Lily Allen's is terrible 'cause of overplaying, and I'll never vote for Adull out of principle :oh:.

I'm torn between Smile and Foundations. I love them both but of course I've played them out to death. :sobbing:

Where the hell is Leona Lewis?

Floundering in irrelevance somewhere? :oh:

From that list I'd say Adele.

Nice to see Nicola Roberts mentioned too - always felt she was one of the best in Girls Aloud but seemed to be sidelined as not regarded as the most attractive of the five.

She's as, if not more irrelevant than Leona! :crying2: Why didn't you include Leona in the poll?!

Under The Sheets by Ellie. I saw her for the first time at a Belgian festival and I had never heard of her before, but she completely won me over with her set and that song in particular was very strong. I love the lyrics too.

I live in the UK and I must say i've never heard of Kate Nash or Nicole Roberts, never heard that Katy B, Joss Stone or Pixie Lott song (I must say I barely know these singers either) :help:

What about the other good relevant British artists?

Nicola Roberts out of those choice of singles.

However, I'd say Lily Allen's 2nd album was the best album produced by any of them though there are plenty of superior English female solo acts around e.g Kate Bush and PJ Harvey and of course Amy Winehouse who left behind some great music.

:D Apparently Lily is considering making a new album after "retiring" from music a few years ago. Good news if true.

Kate Nash even if she did "bite" off of Lily Allen. :tape:

Why isn't Leona on this poll? Even a Leona with fading popularity who's unfortunately resorted to releasing B-grade dance tracks and covers with no airplay still consistently charts in the top 10 in the UK, which is more than can be said for Nicola Roberts, Kate Nash and Joss Stone. Heck, even Cheryl and Lily Allen these days

Voted Ellie on the poll.
