Can't stand any movie with him in it. Sammo Apr 3rd, 2012, 02:27 PM Rightfully so. Can't stand any movie with him in it. Me neither. He isn't funny at all  saul1333 Apr 3rd, 2012, 03:25 PM Made me laugh so hard. NeKo Apr 3rd, 2012, 04:53 PM expected. Probably not the worst movie ever made, but according to the budget, one of the worst. Actually all his recent movies are crap. She needs to restart his career or just retire. Monica_Rules Apr 3rd, 2012, 05:09 PM Haven't seen it and never will Halardfan Apr 3rd, 2012, 09:09 PM It's a shame, because he did star in one of my favourite films, The Wedding Singer. I normally hate romantic comedies but that movie is warm hearted, funny, nostalgic, a great movie. Happy Gilmore, in the area of dumb, fun comedy, is also funny and likable. He also showed he can act in Punch Drunk Love. Since then it's been a steep decline into unfunny rubbish. Lulu. Apr 3rd, 2012, 09:14 PM I never saw it but from all the previews it looked terrible so I'm not surprised. Helen Lawson Apr 3rd, 2012, 09:25 PM It was dumb, but it had its moments. Totally watchable. Katie Holmes should have gotten the supporting actress Razzie over David Spade. Is she retarded or something? wild.river Apr 3rd, 2012, 10:12 PM It's a shame, because he did star in one of my favourite films, The Wedding Singer. Reptilia Apr 3rd, 2012, 10:18 PM I still love Happy Gilmore  But yeah, everything of late by Sandler has been utter SHYTE Pops Maellard Apr 3rd, 2012, 11:27 PM Adam has had some results in the past, but it's a faster, more athletic industry now than when he played. He is old now. His time has passed. Cage Apr 3rd, 2012, 11:47 PM The movie was BAD. Nicolás89 Apr 3rd, 2012, 11:48 PM His voice sounds so retarded, I can't stand it, sorry. :tape: tennisbum79 Apr 3rd, 2012, 11:57 PM What took so long? He deserves this award for many of this past movies Sammo Apr 4th, 2012, 12:16 AM What took so long? He deserves this award for many of this past movies BlVwOEwuzp0 Ew  I remember a Simpsons episode in which Mr. Burns checked a list of the most popular multimillionaires of the country of which he said 'God, even Adam Sandler is ranked higher than me' M2k Apr 4th, 2012, 12:31 AM Aww poor Adam. I loved him in Spanglish, P.D. Love, and the Wedding Singer. He should do more films like those. He's a very capable actor. :) and eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, only jim carrey movie i like. You should watch The Truman Show and I Love You Philip Morris. He's fantastic in those two as well. tennisbum79 Apr 4th, 2012, 12:35 AM He's a very capable actor. :) . What? He plays only 2 roles in all of his films. Nice guy who comes to the help of wronged people, and or clueless but well intentioned guy. Helen Lawson Apr 4th, 2012, 12:42 AM He did Jill pretty well. Halardfan Apr 4th, 2012, 12:59 AM What? He plays only 2 roles in all of his films. Nice guy who comes to the help of wronged people, and or clueless but well intentioned guy. Id offer up Punch drunk love as evidence he is capable of more than that. But it's The Wedding Singer which makes me more forgiving of the dross he has put out more recently. Most romantic comedies these days are hideous, but that film is perfect. Also I'd say there are plenty of acclaimed actors who have a narrow range, plenty of serious actors who can't do comedy for example. Comic actors are underrated as a rule. I think it's at least as hard to be funny as to put in a serious performance. | |
