Just about 20-years old Heather Watson and her father Ian, a retired managing director of the Guernsey Electricity Company and her mother Michelle are very ambitious: Eight years ago Heather, who sees herself as a “female Tsonga”, left the Channel Islands and joined IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida; as every youngster who is identified as “future star” by Nick (http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/tennis/nick-bollettieri-take-it-from-me-feisty-watson-has-what-it-takes-2288486.html), the ”British tennis sensation” (http://www.sportspromedia.com/news/dunlop_signs_british_tennis_sensation/) get a lot of media support ( http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/tennis/article-2005279/WIMBLEDON-2011-Heather-Watson-earns-respect-locker-room.html) (and well know sponsors like American apparel company K-Swiss). Even after mediocre results and dropping out of Top 100, her recent wins against Sorana Cîrstea ( http://www.imgacademies.com/nick-bollettieri-tennis-academy/news/heather-watson-recovers-to-beat-sorana-cirstea-in-miami/1405/) and Lucie Šafářová ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/tennis/17494913) at Sony Ericson Open were celebrated overwhelmingly.

Are Heathers ambitions (http://www.heatherwatson.co.uk/profile/) to win a Grand Slam and become WTA # 1 out of reach?

She seems to be quite talented IMO, but then again they predicted great things for Marin Cilic, Donald Young and Ernests Gulbis in the ATP, but none of that appears to be happening so far.

Uhm Marin was Top 10. I think that's good enough. Currently he isn't making some good scores but that's only 'cause he just recently got back from an injurie... I wouldn't comment on overhyped Young. Oooops, I did :oh:

Female Tsonga?
But anyways, I think Heather is more talented than Laura. More potential.
