A few years back people said she would be the next big thing after the Williams-Sisters

Barely made the Top 100 and didn't play since 2010. Is she retired?

Does anybody know some news about her?http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/6c/Angela_Haynes_Albuquerque_2008.jpg/220px-Angela_Haynes_Albuquerque_2008.jpg

Yes, she is retired. I live an hour north of L.A. Here she was the local tennis instructor. I was a little awe struck when I first saw her because I recognized her. Anyways, she had to stop several months ago because she got pregnant.

I'm always getting sad when I think about how much potential she had . Well it was mental, especially after the death of her brother.
She showed glimpses of her potential in Quebec and IW a few years ago though ;)

The last I heard she was a hair dresser. I think the pregnancy came well after she retired ;)

All the best to Angie :D She was a real sweet girl the few times I watched her play live :bounce:

Maybe she was a hair dresser as well, but here in the Antelope valley she was a tennis instructor too (she taught my sibling). Of course the pregnancy occured after retirement from professional tennis. My parent wanted my sibling to take more lessons from her, but she had to stop due to pregnancy. That was around the summer of last year.
