Aga leads H2H 6-0.

No Vika left in the tourney. Another great streak of 2012.

Please Marion. :tape: A lot of tides have changed in this tournament. If Marion can beat Vika, she can beat Lurch.

Probs Aga, but if Marion can play like she did today, she could win.

Aga wins Miami to set up her Wimbledon run and protect the name of Key Biscayne.

Marion played incredible tonight. But she also fall for every trick in Radwanska's sleeve. Hard to tell

I am actually OK with either one winning..It would be great if Marion could take the title after what she did tonight.

Should be a very interesting match. Aga should win it. Though, if Marion will be playing like today, she has a nice chance.

Normally I'd prefer Masha to win the tourney, but the haters made me cheer for Aga so bad :fiery:

Aga should send Marion flowers for getting Vika out of her way.

Mar 29th, 2012, 01:05 AM
She should return like hell to have a chance. Vika was too braindead to try dropshotting Marion to death tonight, I doubt Aga will forget this tactic. I hope it's a good match.

unfortunately radwanska will probably win. Over the years she's had an even harder time with radwanska then she has with vika

but hopefully marion can pull this off

Aga should thank marion for taking out vika, hence she should gift the next match on a silver plate to marion just like how nana did it to maria in the QF :inlove:

:sobbing: argh, no...i am undecided. hopefully, marion in 3 :)

Marion played a great match today but this is the nightmare match up for her.

Aga has won 12 straight sets against her and Marion has won more than 3 games in only 2 of those 12 sets. That is a comprehensive edge. And of course on top of that Aga is a substantially better player than when they last met. Realistically Aga winning this comfortably in straight sets is very much the most likely outcome.

That said both girls are having the season of their lives thus far in their career so it should be a fine match and if against the odds Marion can find a way to win I certainly won't have a problem with that. If she can beat Azarenka and Radwanska back to back she will be very deserving of her place in the final.

We are not having this shit. Maria is the only one who can win this tourney now because I will not have Aga, Bartoli, or Caro win a slam and not Jelena. That would be a disgrace.

Marion will outhit Aga off the court. She will be relentless and destroy Aga

Aga's winning streak against Marion has to stop at some point and this may be it, ...but Aga is my fave so I still want her to win. Both of them had a great day today, too bad only one of them can win the next match.

I would like Bartoli to win. But I just get the feeling she won't. Aga will wear her down in 3 I reckon.

Aga and maria can thanks Marion for taking Vika out :oh:
On topic : hopefully Marion will find a way to finally score a win against Aga.She needs to focus on her game and not let Aga make her run all around the court.

Aga, kick that bitch out !!

Bartoli should enjoy this victory while it lasts. After all, Azarenka has had more success in the last 10 weeks than Bartoli will in her whole career.

That could be said about 95% of WTA, no?

That would imply that at least 50 active players would win a slam and 2 tier 1s in their careers.;)

4 tier 1s... Premier 5 are big WTA tournaments just like the PMs are.. screw the 100 pts difference, the P5s were Tier 1 prior to 2008.

But we were only talking about 2012 - therefore I counted only Doha and IW.:)

You would think Agniezska would win comfortably as she has the game to disrupt marion's natural rhythm, the thing with Marion she loves pace coming onto her and a same ball everytime which radwanska won't give her but you never count out marion as she does win a lot of matches that she shouldn't.

Radwanska having more cakewalk draws. Disgusting.

Hopefully Marion produces some of the magic from the Azarenka match. If she does, she could win.

I think Marion hates to play Aga, because of her movement, this match-up reminds me the Hingis-Seles one regarding the power and lack of mobility of Seles (Marion) and Hingis doing whatever she wanted with the ball and made Seles run and be out of position to release her 2 fisted strokes.

But if Marion plays well she can trouble Aga though, it´s going to be interesting.

Why does that match start at 9:00pm.. What kind of tournament schedules a Semi for that time. The final is on Saturday right?

You are a hater too. You hate the player with a 26-1 record this year.

At least some of us hate pushers (who is the polish player that said that Mugnieska's game style is similar to Martina's? That was a hell of a joke.)

I think Radwanska's got this. She's got the head-to-head mastered, and Bartoli's never been able to maintain the level of play she showed against Azarenka.

So if I have this right, Bartoli won the first set the first time they played, 6-0, but then has lost the next 12 sets in a row to have a 0-6 H2H record vs. Radwanska.
She really is crazy...
