Well done, Aga. She hit an ace on 2nd serve. :worship:

Garbine is certainly a promising rookie though, beating Zvonareva and Pennetta is no small task.:) She also doubled her career prize money with this tournament under her belt.;)

Went up 4-0 in the first set, then lost next 3 games.

Sorry I wanted to start a new thread because I don't like Aga being called Mugnieszka. It's getting very juvenile in here with the name calling. It doesn't make any sense to call someone a Mug who has won all three of her matches in straight sets with convincing scorelines.

If Venus or Ana doesn't stop her, Vika will send her home again. Due to she apologized for her behavior, this time Vika will let her win 5-6 games.

For the record, the better thing to do is report the title and let us change it, not start a new thread.

Above is Aga's draw. She's number 5 seed, so she wasn't going to play Azarenka in second round, you know... But yeah, blame her for other player's losses, and for the fact she didn't draw Serena in 4th round. Gee, you're SO STUPID!

Senor Expertissimo, you should know that it's important who you play against, not who is in your part of the draw when it comes out.
It's the fact that she defeated only two Top 20 players since Sydney, and they were Janković and Lisicki  That's not my expertise, but the reality.
Still, Radwanska is a great player... :wavey:

She's beaten anyone not named Azarenka this year. Now show me the players who did beat Azarenka since January 1st and we can start the discussion where it places Radwanska among other players.

Ok, take it easy. First, besides AO match, how did Radwanska do in their meetings?
Second - she defeated anyone not named Azarenka, but didn't play against Sharapova, Kvitova, Serena...and no one else from the Top 20 who is in a good form. And yes, she did defeat Wozniacki in Sydney and that's a good win for her!
So, to get back on the track - with results that she is having, she had to meet more TOP 20 players and she didn't. That's the fact. So that is an easy draw. And once again, that doesn't mean she isn't a good player!!! SHE IS!

She doesn't have the game atm to beat Azarenka, that's pretty clear. It's not her fault WTA keeps throwing Azarenka in QFs/SFs and not other players, so she can't be tested against anybody else.

Similarly, it's also not Sharapova's fault she only got scrubs on her way to a final of premier mandatory event last week. Fact of the matter is she got there, but we didn't see her tested about any elite/inconvenient opponents. However, winning matches against anybody not named Azarenka is not a fluke for her either.

BTW Goerges was ranked #19 in the Dubai final and since she got to the final she was clearly in-form.

Ok! I can't do this anymore, 'cause if I say once again that A.Radwanska is a good player I will have to kill either me or you  Fact - didn't play any Top 10 player since Sydney besides Azarenka. Fact - Azarenka won all of their matches pretty easy (even AO was like that 'cause Radwanska was no where near winning - now that's probably 'cause I cheered for her  )

Nope, theye WERE not good at that moment. Since they are Top 20 players I will make a wild guess and assume that at some point they played some QF's and SF's on WTA tournaments...

When a Top 10 player losses in R1 or R2, for a player who was supposed to meet 'em in QF or SF that's called L U C K. All over the world, even in Poland ;) So that makes what? EASY DRAW. Get it or should I get my sketchbook out?
