Rothenberg said she was awesome for the most part and all Flavia could do was block the balls back. Maybe we'll get to see her on RadwanskaSport now.

Flavia please retire, this is getting beyond pathetic, you are 30, can't serve, with no mental strenght, can't return, can't hit a FH...since you are hot and a slut, turn yourself into a porn star, we all would enjoy that kind of sucking much more.

loosing to a 18 .yo ??

are you serious ??

i honestly though she reached her low carrer loosing agains kerber in US SF, but i was wrong, this loss is way worse.

i think it will be harder sucking more then today.

she should really retire, instead of embarassing herself in this way.

Now comes the first real test of how good and ready Muguruza Blanco is, the shameless game of Radwanska. I wouldn´t be shocked, if Radwanska gave her a beatdown on the scoreboard, maybe 2-6 1-6. Nevertheless a name to remember.

Told ya's so. LOL

Ah, Garbi was beautiful again today! It wasn't always perfect--she took a siesta in the second set--but for the most part this was a comprehensive performance. Two in a row over very consistent baseliners--that's stout for a player who hits as big and fearless and flat a ball as Muguruza Blanco does. And yes, she got a case of nerves trying to serve it out in front of the pro-Flavia crowd at 5-4 in the 3rd, her only real weak serve game in the match, but she bounced back, got pissed, re-broke for 6-5, served well but Flavia played great to break for a breaker, and then Garbi simply owned her in the tiebreak. She served beautifully in the last game and tiebreak and only missed one or two first serves--again, big time clutch serving. HUGE stuff from an 18 year old against a veteran, experienced opponent. Cannot say enough good things about this girl. She defends so well, has all the shots, and plays well tactically. Beautiful touch and decision making when coming in to the net.

Someone asked in another thread if she can get to #1. Who knows for sure, but from where I sat, she has all the potential to get there. She has a game that makes Wozniacki, Safina, Jankovic, Radwanska and other recent top 5 players look mundane by comparison.

Oh, I admit I am big fan, but the facts speak for themselves. She dominated an ITF last week, and now has won 3 main draw matches in Miami against players known for their consistency in rallies. For a power player, that's saying something.

I just hope that, win or lose against Radwanska, people will give her a fair shake now and see the things in her I have seen this week--the composure, poise, determination, ability to dictate matches, ability to move and defend, power coupled with consistency....she has a lot of qualities that make her a special talent.
