View Full Version : Charity ride

Mar 4th, 2012, 04:16 PM
In July I am doing a scooter ride the length of Britain, from Land's End to John O'Groats.
I am doing this for a charity called Shelter - they help the homeless - http://www.shelter.org.uk/ if you want to know more.
So I'm posting messages on my Facebook, Twitter and on the forums I frequent in order to try and raise money for this worthy cause.
I have a JustGiving page (www.justgiving.com/Matt-Scooter (http://www.justgiving.com/Matt-Scooter)), so if anyone feels like donating any amount of money I, and Shelter and the people they help, would greatly appreciate it.
Even if you yourselves don't feel like donating please at least bear the charity in mind, and maybe tell friends and family.
Homelessness in 21st century Britain is simply unacceptable, and any steps that can be taken to help solve this problem (no matter how small those steps might be) is something that should be done with vigour.

Thank you for taking the time to read this :)
