In the game, participants pick the winners of all main draw matches and are placed in a knock-out system. That means each participant plays a different participant and whoever predicted the winner of most matches correctly, moves on to the next round. The same applies for doubles, but you're in a team format and your scores are combined.
In case a player (i.e. the actual WTA Player) retires in a match, there's new retirement rule for 2012. The new retirement rule means that matches involving a retirement WILL count in TT, as long as the first point has been played, but they do not count for SRs or for TBs.
- If players are replaced by a lucky loser after the start of Tennis Tipping, these matches will be cancelled.

How to Sign-Up:
One can only play this game if he has created an account in this forum at least 3 months ago AND has at least 100 posts.
Just post here that you would like to play. You can only play one tournament per week. Entries will be based on ranking. Everyone can commit.
How to send in picks:
Picks can be sent in as soon as the draws are ready. Remember, you pick a winner inevery match! Picks should be sent by PM, so that your opponent does not know your picks. Picks should be titled: [TT: Nassau, day #]. Picks can be sent in anytime until the beginning of play each day. If you are in singles and doubles then you can use different picks for each if you want to. For doubles, you still tip the WTA singles matches, not the doubles! No changes can be made after the play has started.
You have to send picks before play starts, late picks won´t be accepted!
In case of emergencies/pick sending problems: Only in case of circumstances that a tt player cannot send picks to the manager of the tournament one can send his picks to the below e-mail address. The board will be able to access this account and picks sent here will be counted as normal. Please note that it should ONLY be used in emergencies. Also, a person who uses this method of sending picks should alert the tournament manager and a board member as soon as possible because the account won't necessarily be checked every day.

according to the above link it is people who reach 4th round in Indian Wells (doubles 3rd round), the round of 16, that cannot play here :confused:
well, as I said, Nassau has Saturday final, so deadline can´t be too late, it will obviously depend on the numbers of players.
Deadline has to be Friday, if there are two q-rounds needed , a Saturday deadline wouldn´t make sense as on Saturday 3rd round of singles is not completed!
So it will be either Friday deadline or Sunday deadline but people can easily switch to the two other challengers in case of early deadline here as those two tournaments will have Sunday final unlike Nassau! :)

Too many people are still in IW obviously as Doubles Main Draw didn´t even start yet!
I will make another update tomorrow when first round of doubles and 2nd round of singles MD is finished there.
Then it will depend on the number of players if we will have 2 rounds of qualifying (with original schedule on first page) or if we will only have one round of qualifying.
Then I would start the tournament on Monday with 2 rounds (final q-round and 1st round of MD) being played on one day or on Sunday with final q-round (depends on when we reach the maximum of 36 players).

Jason told me 2 hours before deadline only, I obviously can´t change the draw then, not possible as one of those who were in MD before would have to send for quali then suddenly.
I know that it was my fault obviously but all I can do in such a situation is putting the missing person on top of the LL list, which I did.
Missing Someone's Commitment: In the case that you miss someone's commitment while managing a tournament he/she will be topping the Alt or LL lists.

More people picked Sanchez, only one person (Kevin) picked Fujiwara, so it was obvious that he will get the award for the "Pick of the day", ranking isn´t important then at all :angel:

You told me before the award is for singles only and I was the only player in singles to pick Sanchez. :shrug: We could have at least both received the award. :shrug:
