If you're a guy, no big deal. If you're chick, this spells major problems.

If you're a chick, then get a wig. You have no other option.
If you're a guy, play the hot bald daddy look. But beware, when you shave your head on a routine basis, it may never come back, at all.

Cut your hair really short and have fun with mustaches, beards, etc.

I started losing my hair at 19 and I've had facial hair of some sort since I was 20.

Even is you just manage a soul patch, you can have fun with it. I currently sport a lovely and exceptionally full horseshoe mustache.

Do they sell Rogaine in China?
If they do, is it the real formula or an substitute?
In China, almost no western product is what it seems.

Seriously, you must know that losing one's hair has genetic factor, and there is nothing you can do about it.
And even if it is not genetic, take it like a man, this experience will toughen you up a little.

I started losing my hair at 23 or so. Nothing you can do about it I guess. Hasn't been as drastic as some other guys so I'm thankful for that.

Compensating with facial hair is the way to go.

I already had the goat scruff going on before I started losing mine at 17. Now I have a trimmed beard.

No matter what though, hold your head high. Girls like confidence, so act like nothing is wrong.

Also, hats are good. Baseball cap forward/backwards, fedora's...

Think Yul Brynner. He was a sexy dude.

Whatever you do, don't go to hats all-of-the-time or the combover. We all know what you are hiding.

I find the hair on the sides of the head look, bald on top, actually attractive. Unless you are only 22.

Also, it may go in fits and starts depending on what kind of baldness you have. (Pattern baldness is the most common, but it's not the only kind).

I had a receding hairline, and I lost some in my teens, it stopped, lost some more in my 20s, it stopped, a lot in my 30s. Luckily, I was tall enough most people couldn't see how thin my hair was on top until my 30s.

Use a volumising Shampoo and Conditioner,

Use products in your hair which give it volume, Im not receding just yet, but I don't have the thickest hair at all, so I use this powder called "dust up", which thickens up the hair.

I blow wave it with my hair facing the ground and comb it through,

I am male but I don't think being bald is hot or something;)

I actually find bald and balding men very attractive, and apparently it is a sign of masculinity and virility - extra male hormones! Men who fuss over their hair are either vain or gay and I find men who have fancy haircuts a turn off. Too girly for me!

Please don't waste money on treatments as they don't work. And you don't want to end up looking like Wayne Rooney or Elton John with their transplants.

Men worry too much about hair loss and even look ridiculous when they try and cover it up. Embrace your extra masculinity!

This is what I was talking about! Such a look is extremely attractive. It oozes charm, warmth, masculine, not too smooth and not too rough, and looks handsome in a suit or jeans and T shirt. Girls find it sexy and feel safe at the same time.

A small, but very important detail. Lin Lin is in China

This kind of look may attractive and have all the attributes you eloquently described, it does not project that kind of man in China.
Also, Chinese men in general, would not, if they can help it, will NOT let their hair become grey/white.

So the pressure is really great on Lin Lin.

Sorry, i didn't mean to offend, I was trying to help and be positive.

I had no idea that was the culture in China.

I don't like it when older men dye their hair black as it looks so fake and odd. Men look much better being natural.

I wonder what would happen if a man in China decided to Just be himself and go bald and grey?

No problem at all.

I did not know that either until my Chinese friends told me

To be fair, Lin Lin's OP mostly talked about how he likes to change his hairstyles often and didn't mention that bit of information about Chinese culture.

That's why I mentioned that I personally enjoy experimenting with my facial hair, since my hairstyle options are so limited.

With all due respect, I still think that's a viable option. Even if you can't do a full beard or heavy mustache, you can usually manage something to add a little bit of distinctiveness to your looks. (I know not all men have heavy beards).

That's from your eyes though. People on the receiving end may not share your perceptions on "inner confidence"

If people want to change/stay youthful, and it makes them confident in doing so.

Trust me :kiss::kiss: (Sarcasm)

How can I explain?
Well,we have strokes instead of letters, like 丿,丨,忄,丶,-,etc.like this:

like the chinese word “山”,mountain in english,we have 8 english letters in english word "mountain",and we have 3 chinese strokes in chinese word.

Kids need to remember what exact strokes involved in the chinese words. It is the same as studying english I guess?

Any chance you could see a doctor? It could be genetic, or it could just be a random bout of hair loss. It's important to determine what's causing it though. If it's genetic, the doc will probably prescribe you some Minoxidil + other meds. Don't wait around though Lin Lin. :)
