Played twice this year. Aga won the first set both times.

Aga has only lost to Vika this year/Vika beats Aga = wins the title :hearts:

Well, Vika plays very well and continues to win her matches. Aga doesn't look as good, but also keeps winning. Aga is my fave so I want her to win, but odds are on Vika's side.

Aga can't beat herself-on-steroids, which is basically what Vika is to me. Whatever Aga can do, Vika can do better.

Aga just may pull this one out, if she can prolong the rallies, as she did against McHale. Obviously two different type of ball strikers (McHale vs Azarenka). But Aga seemed sharp, while Wickmayer gave Vika a little trouble (in comparison) during the second set of their match.

It should be interesting. We'll see?

Only chance for Aga to play clean and aggressive tennis, put constant pressure on Vika and hope she will get frustrated (kicked out of the zone)

Looking at the last two matches, it'll come down to fitness level. They both break each other at ease. So probably Vika. But I hope Aga, it'd be her 300th victory and over #1 on top of that. :drool:

honestly, i will look hard tomorrow to find smtg aga does better, and if i find it, i'll be pleasantly surprised.

Aga is in fantastic shape last few months but I think she will still fell against Vika. This matches today aren't measure for anything. Tomorow will be completly new battle. Vika is much better and different player as Mchale. But it's gonna be tough fight I think. =)

Last three times Vika and Aga met, winner went on to take the title :worship:

:lol: Lots of people overrate Victoria's level a little -- she's good but not that good yet though her game is starting to be a little bit more clearer as the matches go on. She can play even better.

I think Vika will go up a notch again against Aga just like she somewhat did againt Wickmayer in the first set though the latter isn't a solid barometer herself -- her serve is really working well this event and that's probably an important thing when facing Radwanska.

Vika is going to have to have her 'grit' on for this match. Radwanska is a 'slippery slope' kind of player. You think you have the upper hand and then she tests you with her slice and dice and drop shot tactics. I believe it will take 3 sets for Vika to win this match.
