She's more of a hitter than Aga is...how many times have you ever seen her play? This idea that McHale is a pusher is ridiculous. Just because she's not a ball basher and waits to construct points before going for the kill doesn't make her a pusher...:wavey:

I completely agree. I don't even like Peer but what has she ever done for everyone to call her a bitch . I feel like I follow the tour pretty closely and I don't think she's ever done anything out of the ordinary.

Most likely it's just because people think she's unattractive and doesn't bash the ball four feet over the baseline every shot which means she must be an awful person according to the geniuses on general messages. Plus, for some it doesn't help that she's Israeli.

She's a total, disgusting brat. That day she lost all my respect and you know when even a Israelian minister critizises you, you must be worse than evil

:haha: Think whatever you want about that incident - no matter that most of the people who saw it live disagree with your interpretation of the events - but at least get your facts straight.
Alex Gilady was never a minister here and never will be. He's a member in the IOC, a body next to which anyone in WTA management is a saint, and also holds an executive position in NBC Sports.
I know the man a little better than you do. His words on this case aside, he is so full of himself, a total hypocrite and will say anything that he thinks will make him look "dignified".
If you want to say anything against Shahar, that's your prerogative, but if you wanna look serious doing it, look somewhere else than quoting this man.

P.S.
NID, I'm surprised Shahar made it this far in her current form.
Christina is a good player and is headed to the top 20.

:haha: Think whatever you want about that incident - no matter that most of the people who saw it live disagree with your interpretation of the events - but at least get your facts straight.

Besides, the legendary Jimmy Connors (the first big "night match star" @ the US Open after it left Forest Hills and got lights) used to deliberately whip the Flushing Meadows crowds into a frenzy, and all but a few self-proclaimed "tennis purists" mostly said that Jimbo had thus brought the game into the 2nd half of the 20th Century, in terms of sports etiquette.
