Desert grass?

No TV coverage for the match though. :tape:
What really strikes me is that 88% first serve winnings in the first set and the fact Tsvetana made a lone DF in the very last serving game. :worship:
And I suppose there's nothing more we can see from the livescore stats.

I suppose Angie is tired though. Now have a rest and be ready for Dubai, you deserve it.

She must have been dead tired to lose to Pironkova. :spit:
Good for Pironkova to reach the 3rd round :yeah: it usually happens only once a year to her.

Kerber tired + injured.

But that makes Marion's win today even more remarkable :worship: Marion probably spent 3 more hours on court in Paris and still is fresh enough to destroy Meidna today.

 Your an ....., its quite obvious that when Pironkova plays well she can be very dangerous. Has beaten top players on all surfaces and lately she has been playing better(apart from the brainless result against Zakopalova).

I can´t wait till she wins Wimbledon this year and all of the haters on here suffer:fiery:!!! hahahaha

Keep going Tzveti, have to get that ranking back up for Wimbledon.

Great result for Tsveti. She finally got two wins in a row. Bartoli will be so hard to beat but go Tsveti. In her two matches so far she lost 9 games and she've proved before that she can beat Bartoli. Haideeeeee :bounce:

after seeing both of them in Paris last week, the only way for dear Tsveti to beat Angelique was to face an exhausted Angie, that must have been the case because she was such on a roll. Anyway a win is a win, great to see her win some games outside Wimbledon. It will be very difficult against Marion, I love them both so I won't root for anyone in particular

What sort of drugs are you on this week? Bartoli had a bye in Paris and only played 4 matches to Kerber's 5 last week. Bartoli also had a bye this week too.

Last week in Paris Kerber played 5 matches totaling 9:36. Bartoli played 4 matches totaling 8:25. Kerber had tougher opponents too.

Additionally this week Kerber had already beaten Lisicki in a match lasting 2:11 and it was clear she was carrying an injury then. Most ridiculous comparison I've read here in some time.

Kerber was obviously done for the week. Understandable and admirable that she didn't want to lose to her peer Lisicki, and she delivered a strong message to the Deutsche Tennis Bund with her match yesterday. Not surprised she had little left today and just as well really. She could do with the rest.

Happy as well for Tvseti, a classy player who I am almost always pleased to see getting "W"s. :D

Wow!

This just goes to show you how bad Lisicki was the other day, if Pironkova beats a (must be) tired Kerber today.

Nonetheless, good for the Bulgarian!!

And Kerber, get some much needed rest (though I'm sure she'll play Dubai anyway)!!!??

No, she won't play Dubai because she has to play qualifying there. Next tournament for Kerber is Indian Wells.

Oh, so when it's players you like, you suddenly have no qualms about making excuses for their losses and you suddenly get over the sacrilege of players not trying their best if they're tired?

You stay a deluded hypocrite.

Marion's going to be tough in the next round, but Tsveti's beaten her before. Good luck! :D

On her match with lisicki she took some painkillers

It's his natural state. Don't worry:lol:

It's almost a bombshell when Pironkova is winning consecutive matches away from Wimbledon these days. God knows she needs the points.

I don't even what you are talking about. I never suggested Kerber wasn't trying her best to win her match against Pironkova. Nor was I upset in any way by the loss. As it happens I am at least as much a fan of Pironkova, probably more so, than I am of Kerber. So I would hardly feel the need to make an excuse for Kerber. If Pironkova flat out outplayed her, and perhaps she did, that would be fine by me.

Unlike you, I do not derive self esteem from the success of my favourites and consequently I have no need to excuse there losses. This is one reason I have no problem support lower ranked players, what you would in your idiocy refer to as losers.

Anyhow comparing this to the Sharapova match where you made it very plain that you felt she lost because she wasn't that bothered about the match is quite different, particularly as there is no reason Sharapova should have been tired in that match.

dsanders06 you look more desperate all the time.
