Australian Media tend to hire commentators for life, they have the same core commentators for all the major sports, Tennis, AFL and Cricket that have been around for many years.

I think Fred did coverage of last years Australian Open for Fox Sports and might have also covered the French.

Thankfully this year Fox have recruited McEnroe and JA should be too busy being a polly
