WHat do Ya Think Kvitova ended her 2010 year number 35 or 36 I think and now number 2,Petkovic ended her 2010 year at 32. So is there a chance for Pavlyuchenkova to get into the top 10

It really depends on how she plays. She might get into GOAT mode or just fall into a long slump. She still hasn't proved she had the consistency to get to the top of the top.

I don't know if it will be in 2012, but it seems inevitable that she enters the top10 at some point. Anyway the most important thing is not the points or the rankings as much as her game improving. Would be nice if she could repeat QF at the slams or even make a SF, but it's going to be tough in 2012.

That is a huge IF. Pavly is a typical player riding her talent. Being top 5 or even top 10 takes a lot of hard work no matter how talented you are.

For once I agree with ExtremespeedX. She's too big a girl. One of the hardest things in this world is to slim down and change your diet. Talent only gets you so far. Hard work is something you should never underestimate. For exmaple, look at where Nadal got with hard work, or on the WTA in recent years, look at where Stosur got.
