All these girls hover around the same rankings for a while.
Who do you think will have the best career?
Marion Bartoli

Agnieszka Radwanska

Andrea Petkovic

Radwanska will probably have had the more consistently strong career - more Tier 1 titles, more time in top 10, etc. - but I really don't know if she'll ever make a Slam final like Marion did, so...make of that what you will.

Petkovic will not surpass either woman.

Petkovic is never reaching a slam final. She's local and bad.

Bartoli is quietly building a decent career.

Wimbledon final for Cake is better than whatever the other 2 achieved in their careers.

Judging by this logic, Marion wins, Aga is second because her Tokyo and Beijing double.

However Aga won P5 and PM

Again Bartoli reached Wimbledon final and won P5 too and beating the likes of Pekto in a P5 ain't impressive at all. Anyway to answer to the thread, I think Bartoli will have the better career. Aga is way too weak physically to reach the latter stages of major and she is way too powerless too, not even a big shot in her arsenal. Petko is a choker.

That's the same thing. Beside there are some P5 who are more relevant than Premier, Rome > Pekin.

What do you mean ? Aga has PM+P5 (former tier 1 tournaments), Bartoli has only P+P (former tier 2).
Ok.. Bartoly has better results at slams, however Aga could win big titles (P5 or PM), unlike Marion

Bartoli duh. The furthest Radwanska can reach at slams is the quarters, and maybe a semi.

Aga without a doubt!
they have the same number of titles (Aga most important) but Aga is 22 and Marion 27
Aga plus better doubles player (2 SF Slam)
besides higher ranking: Marion 9, Aga: 8
and W / L in GS: Marion 60-39, 51-22 Aga

so I think that now Marion is a little better, but in the future Aga sweep ;)

Think Radwanska will have the better career stats wise (longer in top 10, better ranking, bigger titles) but cant see her having the runs and wins in grand slams that Marion has. (F at Wimbledon, SF in Paris, wins over Serena, #1 Henin, #1 JJ) Petkovic will be a very steady player I think but Im not sure how much more she can improve, and this is coming from a fan.

Didn't she used to be one of your favourites?

Anyway, yes, Bartoli has already done plenty of good things in her career, Petkovic just isn't good enough, and until she really proves herself, Radwanska is nothing but an opportunist who took advantage of all the injured and tired players during the second half of 2011. I doubt she'll ever reach a slam final but she did genuinely impress me in some matches.

Marion has peaked already. Aga will achieve the most out of the three of them. If players like Li or Stosur can win a slam, Aga can easily. Petko has potential, but Aga edges it.

Bartoli has 3 doubles titles and a Slam SF in doubles as well.
I think she has a few good results left in her, considering 2011 was her best year yet. Who knows what could happen, Li and Schiavone have proven its never too late to do your best.

Petkovic has the best game to be successful. Unfortunately she is mentally weak and an epic choke artist, even if she wants to pretend otherwise. She severely underperforms in all her big matches and moments.

The question is who WILL HAVE the best career not who HAD the best career?
So i think Radwanska easily, looking at her late 2011 results, i think she can reach some good slam results in the future, Bartoli is ahead now, with her wimbledon final and rg semi, but Radwanska is younger and i think she can win a slam when Clijsters, Venus and Serena will retire

But then you'll have peak kvitova and Barty and Madison Keys.

Aga had an Excellent end to the year - but prior to her double, i wouldn't even think it's close .
if she can play that well when everyone else is - kudos to her, but she's still to prove that, while Bartoli really did.

but i do reckon Aga should reach a SF of a slam at some point (ala Hantuchova or Likhovtseva style).
Petko needs another solid year before i can rely on her to do anything big.

For now it's Bartoli.
She has a Slam final, Semifinal and a 2 QFs.
She has wins over Serena and Henin at Wimbledon :worship:

But I think Aga will have the best career overall. She improved so much this year :hearts:
If she keeps this up she will win a Slam one day :inlove:

neither one of petkovic or radwanska are ever making a slam final, i doubt we'll ever see either one reach a slam semi either. Marion for sure

and im not sure its outside the realm of possibility that marion win a slam, i still think that she can.

so wrong...I bet that Aga will make it to the semis in 2012 and in the future she will make at least one final (my thoughts are around 3 with at least one win), as for Petko she can definetly reach semis as well, everything depends on the draw, but for sure i don't see Marion winning a Slam at this point especially if she faces Aga in the final (would love to see that ---> h2h)

I hope it will be Aga. She is the most talented one, but there's a lot of things that must improve if she wants some really big results. Her serve and her forehand have improved a lot, but adding some extra power would definitely help.

It should be Aga.
But for now, it's Marion. I still have a little hope, she will win Wimbledon someday. I think she can beat KvittyGOAT there.
Andrea... well maybe Slam SF will be her career highlight
