First 50k won for Kristina! Looks like she's ready for a breakthrough. She's more in control of her weapons now and has improved her mental toughness.
Very clean third set too with great serving!
Couldn't be any better before Christmas! :p

 to Valeria!

Christina :yeah:

She's definitely better than Garcia but unfortunately, she's a brainless ball basher with little variety (like 95% of the tour obviously).

Rezai made the final in Dallas last year, a far larger accomplishment then this. Even if you don't consider the large amont of talent Aravane has, that one result outshines anything Mladenovic has done.

Had she beaten Lertcheewakarn in the Dubai final, it may have been a closer fight.

So true on all counts. I was rolling my eyes when all the hype surrounding Caroline started and Kristina was all of a sudden forgotten. Yet Kristina achieved ten times more than Caroline in juniors (RG Win, Wimbledon RU, YE No. 1, Orange Bowl RU, and more) at a much younger age (she did all of this in 2009, when she was 15/16). Plus she was on the way to top 100 in early 2010 before an injury set her back.

Both girls are talented, but in terms of raw power and weapons, Kristina has it all. I love watching her play when she's on. So great to see her ending the year on a strong note!

That superb potential of her serve carries her over other ballbashers imo.

When I turned on the TV yesterday, I was totally thinking why Zvonareva played a 50K final.

That superb potential of her serve carries her over other ballbashers imo.

Her first serve can be a huge weapon but she can make an incredible amount of double-faults in one match and her first serve percentage can be low, under 50% as well.
