So the top 4 play #13-#16?

In that case, please Serena stay #12. Maria may actually have a chance against Kim

You just know JJ will do something random and knock Serena and Kim into the 13-16 range. :lol::o

Poor Maria :hug::scared:

someone tell serena she needs to go a round futher than kim, then we might not get kim vs X in one semi and tankrena vs X in the other and the dream final ruined.

@Na Mug

I see you deducted points already with Petra for Brisbane (currently she's only 115 pts behind for # 1).

Now you have her minus 295pts. But you should of made a notation, cause she's going to play Sydney before the Australian Open, and she can make up or surpass those points (+280 pts from Brisbane), depending on how well she does at Sydney .

Of course she can do worse as well.

I know you had mentioned, "players can gain points, but their seeds won't change already", but I'm not sure if you deducted points for every one else either?

But I see your point.

@Na Mug

Yes. I'm aware of that.

But it wouldn't mean they wouldn't have the points, by the time that Monday rolls around, regardless of the seeding. That's not what I was asking.

I was asking, did you make a notation for Kvitova (unless you did the same for her and everybody else, by deducting points from the week before); that's all.

Don't worry. I got you. I guess I was more thinking about the actual #1 ranking, when I saw the points, more so than the OZ seedings. The two can be different after Sydney.

Thanks.

Clijsters is one set away securing #12 spot.
Serena is injured... or so.

Pavs currently #16, only 5pts ahead of Peng, both out this week.
Kuznetsova needs Auckland title to make top16.

And Clijsters does just that.... I would like a Wozniacki- S Williams in the 4th round

Jan 5th, 2012, 09:46 AM
looking at those aga would be a lovely draw for kim, then vera or sam (i don't think sam has a chance of handling the pressure at the oz open). li would be my last pick for kim as she seems to be playing well at the hopman cup and is always dangerous.

I dont see any relevance of junkovic in this case, and Serena can have problms a dangerous floater in first 3 rounds if she isnt healthy,... I mean that 4th round is still really far.
