Is this match indoors?

Yes, it's winter now in Central Europe and every match is held indoors.

If she keeps improving, I expect 2 slams and one olympic gold - either in singles or in mixed doubles with Berdych :devil:

@Petronius

If she keeps improving, it will be 2-3 majors with an Olympic Gold in 2012.

Not considering the opponent, what was actually mildly impressive about this match (if you could say anything, though I didn't see it) was the scoreline.

Many times Petra starts off tournaments slowly, after periods of inactivity.

Not that she couldn't of been sluggish in this (or it's even a real tournament), but the scoreline and statistics at least say, she handled her business rather cleanly.

A healthy and motivated Serena is definitely the biggest threat to any slam contender. Hope that both Serena and Petra will be in top shape when/if they meet in 2012 and deliver their best.

Because she beat Zakopalova? :spit:

Yes that's the only reason not because of what an exciting talent she is.

Don't forget a motivated and healthy Clijsters as well?

I think the jury is still out on both of them (Serena and Clijster in 2012), despite their previous success. But they could both provide some exciting tennis against Kvitova, indeed.
