She will not play one of Paris/Dubai/Doha for sure, pull out of Charleston, not play Stuttgart for sure, and Stanford too.And then she will get injured for 3 others. And mysteriously get injured around Moscow. :o

I think she will play Montreal cause Martha will need atleast two hard court tourneys to prepare for USO after 3 straight grass tourneys.

denny5576 wrote about Maria's schedule in russian forum ... I'll try to translate it in english

As a TOP 10 player Maria MUST play :

- 4 GS

- 4 PM (IW,Miami,Madrid,Beijing)

- 4 from 5 Premier 5 events (so Maria should choose where not to play - Doha,Rome,Montreal,Cincinnati and Tokyo) Denny thinks she won't play Montreal

- 2 from 6 Premier 700 ( so here Maria should choose where to play - Dubai,Charleston,Stuttgart,Stanford,Carlsbad,Mosco w) Denny thinks she will choose Dubai and Charleston

- and YEC ( if she qualifies)

So his 2012 Tournament Calendar is :

Brisbane
AO
FED CUP 1/4 final
Doha
Dubai
IW
Miami
Charleston
Madrid.
Rome.
French Open.
Birmingham.
Wimbledon.
Olympics
Cincy
USO
Tokyo
Beijing
YEC

4. Indian Wells (Premier Mandatory)
5. Miami (Premier Mandatory)
6. Charleston (Premier)

She already played 1 Premier tournament (Brisbane), so she only need another one.

At least we know Masha's schedule for the first part of 2012 now - so there's no need for guessing which tournaments she's going to play to the end of July :):

Haha, yeah I said it more along the lines of "no one gives a sh*t about that tournament".

Watching that match makes me kinda sad. She still looked so excited and competitive and into actually winning stuff even in 2009 after that horrible run from Wimbledon until Tokyo. Watching matches from this year alongside these highlights really makes me wonder if she'll ever get that flame back.
