Nicole VaidisovaSwingVolley93 Oct 18th, 2011, 07:08 AM please come back :sobbing: Wojtek Oct 18th, 2011, 07:11 AM essentialy thread shazwil Oct 18th, 2011, 07:12 AM ^^ditto^^ thegreendestiny Oct 18th, 2011, 07:26 AM She's happy making Radek happy. Move on. jimmy_the_greek Oct 18th, 2011, 07:32 AM there is a chance she will come back and play doubles with Iveta. not singles though:sad: claypova Oct 18th, 2011, 07:49 AM put this in the retired player forums please :wavey: Pops Maellard Oct 18th, 2011, 09:37 AM I think she'll announce her return within the next couple of years . Rex59 Oct 18th, 2011, 10:57 AM Face it. Nicole's not coming back. The question was posed by a reporter to Step' at the Legg Mason tourney and Step said that it's not likely, although he has encouraged Nikki to return, but leaves it up to her to make a decision. Further, Matt Cronin of the Tennis Reporters saw Nicole in the stands and asked her point blank whether she'll return to the Tour. Her response was "no". Attached is the video of Step's interview. At 4:30 of the video is when he responds to the question regarding his wife. The way it is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6o0C153wm0 MisterMan Oct 18th, 2011, 02:44 PM what an insane talent this girl was - ball basher but precise, hitting the lines, the serve. Could've been a hall of famer, such a strange spiral downward she took. From world class to not being able to even hit a forehand. dynamoRockstarr Oct 18th, 2011, 03:00 PM I was warming up to her too. Pump-it-UP Oct 18th, 2011, 03:44 PM She would have dominated the last few years but she couldn't be bothered. Even her '07 level would have been too much for 99% of the tour to deal with. :o Berlin_Calling Oct 18th, 2011, 04:00 PM She would have dominated the last few years but she couldn't be bothered. Even her '07 level would have been too much for 99% of the tour to deal with. :o fact. if she had continued to build on her 07 form, she would have won at least a slam by now. damn, i miss her  Mary Chain Oct 18th, 2011, 04:03 PM She was one of my favourite things. :awww: JCTennisFan Oct 18th, 2011, 09:52 PM As much as I loved Vaidisova, she will go down as Kournikova 2.0 . She got her money, she got enough fame, and now she is content. Her own motivation is her biggest weakness. Too bad because she had a Slam winning game. That forehand and ROS were just  Players like her and Golovin were supposed to take over from todays top ladies, imo and partially explains why we seemingly have a lack of young talent. We had them, they just either got chronically injured or gave in mentally/emotionally . SwingVolley93 Oct 18th, 2011, 09:54 PM She would've been a legend :sobbing: +Y-T Oct 19th, 2011, 02:34 AM Kind of sad. She was part of the lost generation that should have dominated this generation suck era along with Golovin and Karatantcheva. They are all around the same age as Radwanska, Wozniacki, Azarenka but showed promise much earlier. Lunaticalm Oct 19th, 2011, 05:40 AM Overrated. Kvitova is the better Czech. lang26 Oct 21st, 2011, 04:37 AM Nikki will return one day question is when  | |
