So I suppose Monica lowered her fees?

Jelena will play for free however Monica wanted a lot of money so they wasn't sure whether it would go ahead. It was also planned last year for Budva but Monica asked too much money then. I hope this goes ahead :D

The Jelena interview:

Translation of the article Vlado posted:

Seles: "A match with Dokic in Yugoslavia is planned!"

From special reporter of Sportska centrala from LA

Monika Seles, one of the greatest athletes ever coming from our territory, is known for her professionally. Even after quite difficult lost in quarterfinals of the season ending Masters cup in LA, after accepting award as the most popular tennis player according to voters from WTA's internet page and after patiently answering on reporters questions in English during Press conference, she gathered her strength to nicely accept exclusive interview for SC.

In conversation with our accredited reporter from Masters, Nebojsom Petrovackim, Seles reviled her plans for the next year, analysed season 2002, from AO to this competition in LA, however the most exciting part was the part about returning to our country and playing an exhibition match with Jelena Dokic in Yugoslavia.

Listen to our conversation with Monikom Seles.

The Jelena interview:

Dokic: "I will play for Yugoslavia in Olympics!"

From special reporter of SC in LA

Immediately after her victory over Ana Miskina in the first round of Master's cup in LA and press conference in English, our special reporter N. Petrovacki made an exclusive interview with Jelena Dokic.

- I really don't know who is spreading lies between your colleagues reporters about my refusal to play for the Yugoslavian team. I will definitely play the Olympics under our flag, everything else you can read is made up by reporters. I haven't gave an interview to any reporter for over two months and I don't know why the press is writing such stupidities about me, our best tennis player furiously started her statement for SC.

More about her injury, assessment of the whole season of Jelene Dokic, predictment for performing on this years Master's cup, ambitions for next year, relationship with father Damir, as well as complete overview of her first round performance in the Staples centre with after match statements from press conference after match Dokic-Miskina, with lots of photos, can be found on our member's page.

C'mon Jeca!!
Ok - I'm a fan and usually support her views about unfair media, but...

From SwissComm'02 1r interview:

Q: This time next year you will in theory be eligible to play for another country because it’s three years since you played for Australia. Have you made any application to play for anyone?
JD: No, not really, I am happy the way it is right now, and you know, I don’t think I’ll be looking into playing for anyone at all, and you know, I will just leave it like this.

Q: So that means no to the Olympics in 2004.
JD: Yep.

Ok English isn't my native language, but it's very hard to misinterpret those words.
There is even interview video clip available... :(

All this words are true. Monica will play an exhibition in Belgrade against Jelena. She said that she was in Novi Sad 2 years ago, too.
I have another interview from L.A.

I will send it later.

And for superhero:
