Rybarikova broken for 2-5 1st set at 30-40 from 15-30 to 30-30 (2nd serve) on a double fault.

Only 35% of 1st serves in for Rybarikova.

I don't think Magdelena knows she's playing in a final just yet. She's being really lazy.

Scheepers holds for 6-2 1st set at 40-15 from 30-0 to 30-15 (2nd serve) on an ace. :( The match is 44 minutes long.

I wonder if the much earlier start time has thrown her off. From wednesday on all singles matches have started at 2:30 pm or later while today's match started at 10 am.

Rybarikova broken for 1-2 2nd set at 30-40 from 30-15. :(

Getting routined by someone who's played over 6 hours in the past 2 days.

She's being so nonchalant that it almost looks like she's doing it on purpose lol. I hope the Korea semi-finals are more entertaining, too bad we can't watch it.

Yah, that's kind of ridiculous. None of the other main draw matches started before 1 pm.

Frankly the thing that baffles me is why the field kept blowing it when it came time to close out Scheepers. It's not like she's normally some mental giant. But instead here in this tournament Sevastova loses the 1st set from up a triple break at 5-0, Hsieh had match point on her serve at 6-5 2nd set, Ula was up 30-15 at 6-4 5-3 2nd set (her serve) and at 5-4 2nd set (Scheepers' serve), and Maria was up 3-0 3rd set 40-30 (Scheepers' serve) and 4-1 3rd set 30-15 (Scheepers' serve).

It's just what has to happen for a player like Scheepers to win a tournament. She would have to survive a lot of very close calls for it to happen. She would need her share of luck. And it looks like it will happen now, most probably.
