So far she has played 6 USTA Women's Circuit as follows:

May 21 - El Paso, USA(10K), Qualified, Lost 1R

June 4 - Hilton Head, USA(10K), Qualified, Lost QF

July 23 - Evansville, USA(10K), Qualified, Lost 2R

July 30 - Harrisonburg, USA(10K), Qualified, Lost 1R

Oct 1 - Aventura, USA(10K), Seed 11th in qualifying draw, Qualified, Lost SF

Oct 8 - Hallandale Beach, USA(25K), Lost 1R in qualifying draw

I see that she isn't interested in playing for juniors. Oh well, she has one more pro tournament to play until she turns to 15 yrs old in January.

I don't think I miss any more tournaments she played this year....

Why isn't Katia playing juniors? I don't get it. Katia should be playing more juniors, and Maria Sharapova should be playing more challengers.

I saw Katia and ask her why she did not play juniors she said that she is too good and her coach thinks that too oh well!!!!

How can not playing the Juniors help Katia's career? Her brother Maxim played junior hockey in Russia, and it helped him. I don't get it. Katia needs all the experience she can get.

P.S. - Why does the Pea keep making a big deal about Daveehd's signature?

Uh-oh! Ego-Watch Alert! Not ANOTHER player who thinks she is too good for the juniors!

According to Eggy the competition in the Juniors these days is outstanding. What a shame to miss such an opportunity, especially since I don't see anything so remarkable about Katia's results posted here. She's certainly not another 15-year-old Monica Seles, jumping on to the Tour and frightening the top players right away.

immediately this girl needs a reality check. look at the players you have on the junior tour. seriously, the future top players play the junior tour to some degree. shes silly.

if youre that good atleast play some top grades A or grade 1!!! maybe even a g2 or so...

disappointed she isn't playing juniors , she hasn't this year so it looks unlikely .

It can help alot but if she makes rapid progress up the ranks then it was a wise decision.

currently it looks questionable.

Grade A , 1 and some 2 are of pretty good standard.
