The NY Post today said 8, I count 4...:confused:

This first one in Australia doesn't count as a loss because she retired due to an injury. She lost 3 completed matches.

Was the Shaughnessy match a walkover? I thought she retired at 5-5 or something :confused:

If it was a walkover it doesn't count as a loss, if it was a retirement it does (in the official h2h, anyway).

Shaugnessey was leading 5-4 when Serena retired, so its a loss.
