Imagine if she ended up qualifying for the first round of USO, and then she got Clijsters? :sobbing: Tragic thought.

I remember her as the girl that was once double-bagelled in the AO by Kim:lol:

A little blurb about Bardina after she won the USTA regional to get into the playoff

Bardina did not drop a set the whole tournament. She is 23 and originally from Moscow, Russia. She has been in the United States for one year. She works at Evergreen Sports Center and has a cheering crowd from there that wear "Team Vas" shirts while they watch her play.

She was ranked 48 in the world and played in four Grand Slams. She took some time off after an injury. She started playing again two months ago and has a coach again.

If she makes it to the US Open she would love to play Kim Clijsters.

So, she actually wants another shot at Kim

She won this in May though, if she was serious about a comeback I wonder why she hasn't attempted to play any ITFs since then...
