The saga is over. The squirrel is dead!!! The little girl's grandad was so angry with it, he found it in woods at the back of his house and shot it dead. I don't quite know how he knew it was the same one, but there you are!

Actually, if she wore a fur hat here in Britain, she'd probably get beaten up by an army of animal rights activists :)

Pff, poor squirrel. I'm sure there would have been another way to get it. Why must they always shoot animals when they do something bad? They don't do that with humans, do they?

Yes, and bang goes the army, then she could have a new uniform for the winter, not only a hat.
Seriously, animals with such wierd behavior is not good for the nature, thinking of that squirrel giving its genes to its offspring, I think fur hat is a better alternative.

I bet that squirrel is methodically picking its victims and carefully evading capture!

Thank you salima - I don't like the thought of old people with cars, let alone guns.

This is funny, in a way. I was telling someone the other day that they should watch their windows while sleeping because squirrels have been known to crawl in and eat people's eyeballs. Haven't gotten anyone to believe it, yet;-)

Oh, you think its over, do you? Do you know how many squirrels there are in a litter? I'll bet this little guy has a lot of grieving relatives who are preparing to drown their sorrows in blood!
