Nadia points and winners were barely applauded. Her errors got more cheers. Really a terrible crowd. Belmont Lad Aug 17th, 2011, 07:16 PM Well done Nads, playing solid tennis again lately! :yeah: Fistpump  :wavey: Antoshka Aug 17th, 2011, 07:16 PM :tape: Excelscior Aug 17th, 2011, 07:16 PM The Ivanovic comeback continues (vs the oft predicted/anticipated revival by fans). Tennis is saved! :worship: goldenlox Aug 17th, 2011, 07:16 PM Nadia just won Washington, she's playing a little better. Has a steady player next, Mchale. Should beat her, but you never know what's on Nadia's mind. Polikarpov Aug 17th, 2011, 07:16 PM Anci's serve. :tape: #kArLoS# Aug 17th, 2011, 07:16 PM Thank you Nadia for sending out of the tournament the obnoxious one :) good riddance,Ajde :wavey: :fistpump: vixter Aug 17th, 2011, 07:16 PM Petrova :) hurricanejeanne Aug 17th, 2011, 07:16 PM Nadia! :cheer: Spring Pools Aug 17th, 2011, 07:16 PM Why isn't Petrova doing New Haven again? With Wozniacki playing like this, Petrova could nab herself a title. crazillo Aug 17th, 2011, 07:17 PM Nadia is playing way more solid the last couple of weeks. Good to see! :) Serbian fans were disgusting. :o HuHu Aug 17th, 2011, 07:17 PM http://i56.tinypic.com/140hut.jpg Pump-it-UP Aug 17th, 2011, 07:17 PM Glad that Nadia's really back. :yeah: Hopefully she can capitalize on this draw. When is Ana going to finally get the memo that she needs to fix her serve? She really can't be that stubborn, can she? Gothamn Aug 17th, 2011, 07:17 PM Are they all competing for the DF queen title? Jane Lane Aug 17th, 2011, 07:17 PM :wavey: Hyperactive child. Nadia :yeah: Excelscior Aug 17th, 2011, 07:18 PM The Ivanovic comeback continues (vs the oft predicted/anticipated revival by fans). I was rooting for her as it seemed nobody who was actually there, was. She's still really good when she wants to be! goldenlox Aug 17th, 2011, 07:19 PM There were some good points in this match. I was impressed by some of Nadia's rallying. She worked over Ana's groundies on both sides. Sylvester Aug 17th, 2011, 07:20 PM When she is on, Petrova's striking game is just a joy to watch. So refreshing to see someone hitting the ball with power, going for the kill, instead of pushing and moonballing their opponents to death... TheBoiledEgg Aug 17th, 2011, 07:21 PM Nadia finding her game again after a shit start to 2011 Ana still way to up & down Spring Pools Aug 17th, 2011, 07:22 PM I hope that Nadia can finish in the top 20 this year again because, when she's on, she is definitely top 10. (Unfortunately she's almost never on...) cowsonice Aug 17th, 2011, 07:22 PM Wasn't Ana leading in the 2nd or something? hankqq Aug 17th, 2011, 07:23 PM Well with such a low 1st serve %, it's no surprise that Ana lost the match  Hopefully she can work on her serve for the USO... Rod the Bama Aug 17th, 2011, 07:25 PM This might sound a bit blunt, but Ana`s serve looked like shit today. :help: Is she ever going to get any help for it? :tape: Break My Rapture Aug 17th, 2011, 07:27 PM Ivanovic. Fistpumping on a netcord winner. Routine win for Nadia. Libertango Aug 17th, 2011, 07:27 PM Nadia is definitely top ten material at times. What a shame she's had so many injuries (and is also prone to headcasitis) ViennaCalling Aug 17th, 2011, 07:28 PM Expected. Don't know why so many people thought that Ivanovic will win this match  Gilas. Aug 17th, 2011, 07:29 PM how many points does she lose from this result? Nadia :yeah: nice to see you back. :) GoLdEnSeToV Aug 17th, 2011, 07:29 PM Nadia, thanks so much!!! Ajde srajde Fistpump was pathetic as always:) serbian fans..any words.. -NAJ- Aug 17th, 2011, 07:31 PM Every time when Ana has ok chance in draw she lose early. Stop wasting chances Imperfect Angel Aug 17th, 2011, 07:31 PM Expected. Don't know why so many people thought that Ivanovic will win this match  Because she claimed she's as good as she was in 2008, if not better.:oh: Belmont Lad Aug 17th, 2011, 07:33 PM Because she claimed she's as good as she was in 2008, if not better.:oh: Fistpump thinks "denial" is the river that runs through Egypt. The Daviator Aug 17th, 2011, 07:33 PM Well at least Ana stood there and took the beating :yeah: (Nadia in Rome ) Ana's having typical results for the level of play she's producing, she'll get a win or two in NYC and that'll be it. Jane Lane Aug 17th, 2011, 07:35 PM Wasn't Ana leading in the 2nd or something? Yeah she was up 30* 15-40 Break My Rapture Aug 17th, 2011, 07:35 PM Fistpump thinks "denial" is the river that runs through Egypt. :haha: Fighterpova Aug 17th, 2011, 07:36 PM :help: tennisbum79 Aug 17th, 2011, 07:43 PM I predicted this win w/o sweat. I don't what people in the WWW thread were on, but many left their better judgment somewhere else. They did the same for Na li vs. Safarova Ferg Aug 17th, 2011, 07:44 PM Way to show the crowd Nads :cheer: DefyingGravity Aug 17th, 2011, 07:50 PM Ana, your mental game is so shit. Where's that gif of Jelena shaking her head. I need that one right now. When one Serb slumps, the other one starts to make inroads. :o Psychologist...NOW... Brad[le]y. Aug 17th, 2011, 07:52 PM Ana fistpumped after a netcord :help: FORZA SARITA Aug 17th, 2011, 07:53 PM Ajde :cheer: 2moretogo Aug 17th, 2011, 07:53 PM Why do I feel like she'll make yet another COACHING change? She's still tooo emotional. shoparound Aug 17th, 2011, 07:54 PM Great job Nadia.. service games not very convincing as should be But great that she is winning some matches having a New Haven final to defend :yeah: :D I was kinda disgusted by the crowd though... Nadia points and winners were barely applauded. Her errors got more cheers. Really a terrible crowd. Happens in just about all of the Ana's matches. Her and Kim Clijsters. tennis-insomniac Aug 17th, 2011, 07:57 PM I favored Nadia to win this match from the beginning but also thought that Ana could make an upset. Ana was not very smart in this match, there were some points that showed her intelligence on court, particularly on the first 3 games of the second set, although her emotion gets the better of her and she deserved to lose. I hope she could control more on her emotion, I think she involves her emotion with the crowd too much and not use it to focus on tennis as much as she should. Maybe she won't lose this habit, but I think she knew this and wants to control it, but so far, not good enough. Anyway, I have to say Nadia is so underrated and this win is not a surprise, I did not see Mchale played today but I think Nadia will still win. @danieln1 Aug 17th, 2011, 07:58 PM 30 UE  Seriously, it got to a stage I don“t even bother this stupid losses, and don“t waste my time watching on the stream this errorfest This girl is the Azarenka type, very good against outside top 100 just to fold against any decent top 40 player Vikapower Aug 17th, 2011, 07:59 PM  Same old story with Ana... she's really a desperate case and I doubt she'll ever be back, just so it goes -- 11 DFs and multiple UEs, as soon as she faces someone half decent she's toast, it happened with Petrova lol. scandic78 Aug 17th, 2011, 07:59 PM Very happy for Nadia - but Ana :fiery: the small-minded, materialistic quota of ogling, fair-weather tennis fans need girls like you. Stay in the spotlight please, it's good for the WTA :wavey: iGOAT Aug 17th, 2011, 07:59 PM Nadia :hearts: never in doubt  and she's finding her form again :). Fistpump is SO desperate. The "ajde's" are more than ever and she just looked so freaked out :tape:. Светльо Aug 17th, 2011, 07:59 PM Baby Anci's dress is awful especially when in return pose  Naugthya, on the other hand was so simple dress wise :awww: Marilyn Monheaux Aug 17th, 2011, 07:59 PM    edificio Aug 17th, 2011, 08:00 PM Good comeback in the second for Nadia. :) I thought for sure we would see a third set. The boys in the stands were surely disappointed. misty1 Aug 17th, 2011, 08:02 PM nadia:) fouc Aug 17th, 2011, 08:05 PM Nadia looked really OK from the ground  Way better than at the beginning of the year, though I haven't seen her lately. Ajde plays on the very same level for the couple of weeks  hotscott123 Aug 17th, 2011, 08:15 PM Was rooting for ana until the fistpump on netcord :help: No need for it at all Can't see her staying top 20 for much longer with this kind on inconsistency:scratch: fouc Aug 17th, 2011, 08:27 PM ^^ she plays consistently. BluSthil Aug 17th, 2011, 08:34 PM Along with Wozniacki, Ana better have a reality check. Ivanovic better decide on whether she wants to be a runway model or top ranked tennis player. Consistency is the name of the game; and right now, it's sorely lacking... laurie Aug 17th, 2011, 08:41 PM Bloody Eurosport were showing the match then said to switch to Eurosport 2 for the rest of the match so they could show Golf!!! I only have Eurosport International so couldn't watch the rest of the match :( Anyway good win Nadia. From what I saw, Ivanovic is still playing the same nonsense, rushing all the time and can't control herself or her emotions. And by the way, every time Ana won a point, she was overacting, and so were her silly fans.... S.T.A.R. Aug 17th, 2011, 08:41 PM Nadia :hearts: cn ireland Aug 17th, 2011, 08:55 PM Nadia:yeah: Ana:hug: ce Aug 17th, 2011, 08:59 PM :tape: Ana :weirdo: Pavstry. Glad she proved me wrong. eDonkey Aug 17th, 2011, 09:09 PM Nadia :inlove: Really impressive forehand there, but serve was far from convincing. Why can't this girl ever make me happy anymore Belmont Lad Aug 17th, 2011, 11:29 PM Nadia :inlove: Really impressive forehand there, but serve was far from convincing. The crowd was ... :o And Ana's fistpumps were hilarious.Ana cheering every single UE from Nadia, fans there fall in ecstasy ... :haha: Next is McHale - time for revenge? :cheer: Her fistpumps really have achieved a new level of ridiculousness. She becomes almost unhinged. Girl needs a sports psychologist. Now. :help: SARA-GOAT Aug 18th, 2011, 12:01 AM Nadia :hearts: The Dawntreader Aug 18th, 2011, 12:03 AM Considering how much this tournament has fallen apart, this is salvageable result. Petrova could do well to exploit this tournament. If she's serving well, who knows? MH0861 Aug 18th, 2011, 12:07 AM Why isn't Petrova doing New Haven again? With Wozniacki playing like this, Petrova could nab herself a title. She's playing New Haven ;) tennisforadults Aug 18th, 2011, 12:15 AM This girl is the Azarenka type, very good against outside top 100 just to fold against any decent top 40 player Delusion. Azarenka can still beat many top 20 players. These days Ana loses to practically anyone. BlueTrees Aug 18th, 2011, 01:13 AM AJDEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!11  :rocker2: :rolls: Six Feet Under Aug 18th, 2011, 01:24 AM Nadia, picking up points :cheer: Spring Pools Aug 18th, 2011, 01:43 AM She's playing New Haven ;) Oh good. It seems as if Ana will never change. Her celebration after every point are just not proportional, she just oes goes crazy after every point sh wins, and then goes on losing 3 due to silly errors. Not fun to watch, sorry Navratil Aug 18th, 2011, 06:57 AM So sad that Petrova has no chance of beating Wozniacki in the next round. I sure she would have made it... doooma6816 Aug 18th, 2011, 06:59 AM Ana:facepalm:...Please get your shit together. Congrats Nadia. tripwires Aug 18th, 2011, 07:57 AM Ana fistpumped after a netcord :help: So happy this immature brat lost. The crowd was disgusting too. ivanban Aug 18th, 2011, 08:45 AM So sad that Petrova has no chance of beating Wozniacki in the next round. I sure she would have made it... Excuse me, in which paralel universe was Wozniacki better than McHale?! Vika & Fish Aug 18th, 2011, 12:16 PM Ana's coach is a dud Ana needs a reality check with Kim Kardashian Sombrerero loco Aug 18th, 2011, 12:20 PM bye vip =D rucolo Aug 18th, 2011, 02:57 PM Very good win, Nadia! :bounce::yeah: Have to say I am pleasantly surprised. And I hadn't noticed how desperate Ivanovic and those Serbiatards in the crowds are. Nadia played heaps better and barely got any applause while Ivanovic kept celebrating every error with her AJDE whails. I didn't realise how pathetic she was up until now. | |
