She finall held serve!  cerbero Apr 6th, 2005, 08:19 PM I'm sweating like a pig   Spunky83 Apr 6th, 2005, 08:22 PM I am just rolling my eyes like an ewl...oh wow!!! She won! Nastya, please take your nap somewhere else, but not on court! Oh man... Foot's Fingers Apr 6th, 2005, 08:22 PM Congrats Nastya!!! Now be ready for Asagoe!!! cerbero Apr 6th, 2005, 08:23 PM uuuufffffffffffffffffffff... Foot's Fingers Apr 6th, 2005, 08:25 PM I am just rolling my eyes like an ewl...oh wow!!! She won! Nastya, please take your nap somewhere else, but not on court! Oh man... lol ;) Almalyk Apr 6th, 2005, 08:28 PM Well at least there was no disaster at the end of the third set!!! A win is a win at this stage, a match like this is better now than in two months time!! Good luck against Shinobu sinterklaasje Apr 6th, 2005, 08:28 PM another match like that and I'll get a heart attack !! cerbero Apr 6th, 2005, 08:30 PM That was a tough M... F... of a game, like running a marathon... _LuCaS_ Apr 6th, 2005, 08:32 PM FINALLY, she won :woohoo: Everything was going fine, something was fishie :) Then she remembered she had to fulfill her rollercoaster duties. I still got itches in my stomach. :( Seriously now, serve sucks 58 %, would like to know the number of UEs though. I bet she has over 25 :smash: Next Asagoe jmcfarla Apr 6th, 2005, 08:32 PM Damn that was a little nerve-racking. :drink: What was up with Nastya in that second set? Oh well at least she is in the next round, you gotta believe she'll raise her game when she is playing better opponents. Good luck for the next round Nastya :yeah: cerbero Apr 6th, 2005, 08:33 PM Anybody watched the game? Report? KV Apr 6th, 2005, 08:42 PM All what matters Nastya won, pretty sure she'll play better vs. S. Asagoe. TheBoiledEgg Apr 6th, 2005, 08:47 PM Nastya has too many lapses :fiery: last yr she always started slow and came back, this yr seems to be in 2nd set  she won though ;) :D Nastya, time to pick some pts up ok :) good luck in r3 :) sinterklaasje Apr 6th, 2005, 08:55 PM FINALLY, she won :woohoo: Seriously now, serve sucks 58 %, would like to know the number of UEs though. I bet she has over 25 :smash: Next Asagoe According to the website of the tournament, she had 27 winners and 12 UE, but I don't know if their statistics are reliable (the max serve speed isn't, thats for sure  ) selyoink Apr 6th, 2005, 08:56 PM Glad she won but I can't say I'm not worried about her level of play. Asagoe can make her pay if she does it next match. katiektc Apr 6th, 2005, 08:57 PM She must have pulled out that 3rd set by hitting a few of those 150mph serves ;) _LuCaS_ Apr 6th, 2005, 09:10 PM According to the website of the tournament, she had 27 winners and 12 UE, but I don't know if their statistics are reliable (the max serve speed isn't, thats for sure  ) 12 UE ? Impossible. First set 19 mins :worship: Also 5 of 6 net-approaches ;) ys Apr 6th, 2005, 09:13 PM Now on 12-match winning streak on clay.. TheBoiledEgg Apr 6th, 2005, 09:17 PM Nastya still owes Asagoe for beating her at Roland Garros got to make sure you dont lose to her twice on clay ok :p Spunky83 Apr 6th, 2005, 09:54 PM Anybody watched the game? Report? There are some posters who watched the match. According to them (and my beloved stats), Nastya had a perfect first set. They said she was constantly hitting unbelievable winners during the first set and her serve was great (though not 150mph-great). The first time she lost a point on her serve was in her fourth service game, the time when she was broken when serving for the set. Second set was weird...posters said, she looked totally out of style, but Peer was good. However, itīs time for Nastya to get rid of one of the French Open-first round-nightmare-opponents from the past ;) Tomorrow: set a new world-record again!!! http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y62/Tennispics/a2j_Unbenannt.jpg AMAZING   martirogi Apr 6th, 2005, 10:31 PM first things first :aparty:  :bigclap: good job on the win nastya second- i dont understand how nastya can play amazing beautiful best in the world tennis, but then a few points later hit every ball into the net or spray it wide. it's really unbelievable. Spunky83 Apr 6th, 2005, 10:32 PM Hey, just saw Nastya has the honour to play the single night-match on center court tomorrow. Thereīs something non-american about Amelia Island...they probably thought itīs a good idea letting Nastya play the only night match, cause it will go three sets anyway... thatīs nice, I can concentrate on work the whole day tomorrow;) cerbero Apr 6th, 2005, 11:18 PM Another one tomorrow ? I needed a break... goldenlox Apr 7th, 2005, 02:07 PM 6-2, 3-6, 6-3. At least it's a win. With all the Americans in this tournament, it's surprising that Anastasia is the feature match. _LuCaS_ Apr 7th, 2005, 04:34 PM Let's hope she won't get bored at prime time  cerbero Apr 7th, 2005, 04:54 PM When she loses she'll find it exciting i'm sure  _LuCaS_ Apr 7th, 2005, 05:04 PM She plays after midnight time here in Romania. I have 2 partial exams tomorrow. I'm planning to stay awake though. She better not lose :fiery: goldenlox Apr 7th, 2005, 05:05 PM With Maria saying she's not playing FC, Anastasia will probably play all year. cerbero Apr 7th, 2005, 05:18 PM Is the Romanian time CET ? _LuCaS_ Apr 7th, 2005, 05:19 PM It's CET + 1 _LuCaS_ Apr 7th, 2005, 05:21 PM With Maria saying she's not playing FC, Anastasia will probably play all year. Probably, but I like to think Anastasia will be selected no matter Maria plays or not. goldenlox Apr 7th, 2005, 05:24 PM Probably, but I like to think Anastasia will be selected no matter Maria plays or not.Probably, but now it's not an issue. Her dad isn't an issue at Fed Cup all year. goldenlox Apr 7th, 2005, 07:11 PM Nastya is fortunate to be scheduled for tonight. Nadia has to wait around. Nastya can relax in her hotel room. _LuCaS_ Apr 7th, 2005, 07:30 PM I hope the rain will stop eventually. They better don't push her match tomorrow goldenlox Apr 7th, 2005, 07:33 PM Nastya isn't scheduled to play for several hours. Wet clay is good for her. Rain is good for Nastya, for the next 2 months. _LuCaS_ Apr 7th, 2005, 07:36 PM Nastya isn't scheduled to play for several hours. Wet clay is good for her. Rain is good for Nastya, for the next 2 months. Why do you say that? I hate wet clay, I end up down eventually in a rally :o goldenlox Apr 7th, 2005, 07:43 PM Wet clay is slow, Anastasia is fast. She can run down almost any ball on wet clay. It tends to frustrate her opponents. _LuCaS_ Apr 7th, 2005, 07:47 PM Hm, true. But not if she gets bored first :) Spunky83 Apr 7th, 2005, 07:57 PM Yep...wet clay...SF French Open, it was perfect for Nastya...damn rain...go away! When did it start raining? I just came home Almalyk Apr 7th, 2005, 08:01 PM Good luck Anastasia!!! _LuCaS_ Apr 7th, 2005, 08:52 PM Still :rain: :( Spunky83 Apr 7th, 2005, 10:55 PM Venus will continue the match tomorrow on friday while Nastyaīs night match is still scheduled...I doubt it;) cerbero Apr 7th, 2005, 11:16 PM :fiery: Wass? Can't believe they won't play... cerbero Apr 8th, 2005, 12:18 AM  Spunky83 Apr 8th, 2005, 12:39 AM  Me too, me too... cerbero Apr 8th, 2005, 12:46 AM What she won? Guess i was dreaming... Almalyk Apr 8th, 2005, 02:59 AM What she won? Guess i was dreaming... Hopefully you wake up tomorrow and realise it's not a dream, but it became a reality!! :worship: _LuCaS_ Apr 8th, 2005, 04:01 AM So, they didn't play after all. Big day today as Nastya is scheduled to play as follows: Grandstand (from 10.00hrs) 1. Sugiyama vs. Razzano (To finish 46 66) 2. Myskina vs. Asagoe (NB 11.30hrs) and I hope Stadium (from 10.00hrs) 1. Domachowska vs. V.Williams (To finish 63 46) 2. Pierce vs. S.Williams 3. Davenport vs. Domachowska or V.Williams (NB 13.00hrs) 4. Myskina or Asagoe vs. Jankovic or Petrova Good luck !!! martirogi Apr 8th, 2005, 01:11 PM wow  she has to play pretty quicky after her 3rd rd. i thought she wouldn't play until 5 or 6 at least. i think this nastya will do good playing back to back so fast, but i don't know why. Spunky83 Apr 8th, 2005, 01:34 PM Itīs supposed to start raining anyway around noon;) goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 02:05 PM Anastasia has to play twice today. goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 03:34 PM Anastasia and Asagoe are about to start. goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 03:51 PM Nastya up 3-1. Now 4-1. One break. goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 04:08 PM Anastasia was broken at 4-2 and 5-3. Now 5-4. goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 04:21 PM Broken again at 5-5, Asagoe up 6-5. katiektc Apr 8th, 2005, 04:23 PM Guess she must have got bored.... sinterklaasje Apr 8th, 2005, 04:26 PM No time to get bored !!! Rain is coming, so finish the job in straight sets, Nastya. Thank you! martirogi Apr 8th, 2005, 04:26 PM :drive: tiebreak goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 04:28 PM You just can't be broken 3 times in a row. Good players will take advantage of that. 5-0 Asagoe. goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 04:33 PM That set was a disaster 6-7(5). And when you are scheduled to play twice, you have to close out a 4-1 first set. sinterklaasje Apr 8th, 2005, 04:35 PM :hysteric: 27 UE !!! :( martirogi Apr 8th, 2005, 04:41 PM umm... what the fuck is she doing down 2-0 in second now goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 04:42 PM She's been broken 4 of 5, and you can't win like that. goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 04:51 PM From 4-1, to down a set and 1-4. sinterklaasje Apr 8th, 2005, 04:58 PM rebreak, 3-4 what a strange match goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 05:00 PM Too many breaks. Nastya has to hold her serve. Vass22 Apr 8th, 2005, 05:03 PM Davai Nastya! break her and then take the set! sinterklaasje Apr 8th, 2005, 05:04 PM 5-4 Nastya :bounce: goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 05:16 PM 6-5, she has to hold here. sinterklaasje Apr 8th, 2005, 05:19 PM she didn't :fiery: goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 05:22 PM Down 4-2 in the tb. goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 05:28 PM It's over 6(5) & 6(7). This was about not holding serve. sinterklaasje Apr 8th, 2005, 05:28 PM :bigcry: she lost second set as well Epigone Apr 8th, 2005, 05:34 PM Nastya   goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 05:35 PM Up until now, it hasn't been a good 2005 for Anastasia. Maybe Fed Cup will bring back last year's intensity. _LuCaS_ Apr 8th, 2005, 05:35 PM Broken when serving for the set.....again and again.....that's plain stupid. I am so mad :banghead:, but I guess I have to get used to this...damn you Anastasia goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 05:37 PM I think yesterday's comment about being bored is very telling. Anastasia doesn't have the urgency she needs to win matches. The intensity. JLDementieva Apr 8th, 2005, 05:44 PM Unbelievable! this is so frustrating!!! COMEON NASTYA WAKE UP!!! _LuCaS_ Apr 8th, 2005, 05:45 PM She's a puzzle. I don't understand her. Get another trainer. Take a break until RG. This can't go on like this. cerbero Apr 8th, 2005, 05:47 PM I missed it and i'm glad i did...@ GL if that's the case maybe she should stop playing... but i don't know if that's the reason or an excuse? Shoulderpova Apr 8th, 2005, 05:47 PM Nastya  she may think that in one major is enough and there's no needing in winning any more :retard: goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 05:52 PM I missed it and i'm glad i did...@ GL if that's the case maybe she should stop playing... but i don't know if that's the reason or an excuse? Not an excuse. It's what happens. A player has a career year, and they don't have the desperation they had, which got them to their career year. 2005 is still young. 3 majors, the KC, Fed Cup. There's a lot of time left. cerbero Apr 8th, 2005, 06:00 PM The problem is in head, an example is what happened in Athens, she's unstable, you can see other players with less abbilities bu always hungry for victory.... martirogi Apr 8th, 2005, 06:00 PM guess the rain made her cranky. o well. i'm not upset. losing early at a tier 2 is ok if it means ur well rested to win the tier 1 next week. ;) selyoink Apr 8th, 2005, 06:00 PM She will never win another grand slam. She is a train wreck right now. People talk about Dementieva's serve but I think Myskina's is worse now. She never seems to hold serve anymore. I no longer have confidence in her ability to win. She is still my fav player but I fear the worst. I think she needs a new coach and a break from tennis. martirogi Apr 8th, 2005, 06:03 PM i think the theme of nastya's year is "it's early, there's still time left" goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 06:05 PM i think the theme of nastya's year is "it's early, there's still time left"I agree. She can still have a great year. But so far, no wins against a top 25 player in 2005. martirogi Apr 8th, 2005, 06:08 PM i dont think nastya needs time off. i think she needs to play in a lot of matches and then in one, who knows when, there'll be a point where she has to fight and that will get the hunger back. goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 06:11 PM I thought drawing Molik in round 1 of the FO was good. It forced Anastasia to focus. She wasn't talking about getting bored during matches. She should be fighting to win every point, and get off the court quickly. cerbero Apr 8th, 2005, 06:12 PM @GL My main problem with her is when she says rubish like i'm bored and others, but i agree with giving her the benefit of the doubt in terms of what she can do this year... goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 06:14 PM And I'm worried about the Fed Cup team. Without Sharapova, Nastya needs to win all her matches. cerbero Apr 8th, 2005, 06:17 PM And I'm worried about the Fed Cup team. Without Sharapova, Nastya needs to win all her matches. WHo are the italian players ? goldenlox Apr 8th, 2005, 06:24 PM Pennetta and Schiavone. TiK-Tee Apr 8th, 2005, 06:25 PM Myskina come back your game PLZ Spunky83 Apr 8th, 2005, 08:25 PM Ok...time to re-re-refocuse. Itīs getting scary now. I get back to my two ideas: take time out (I donīt care when), build a house out of wood and stay in it and get a new coach, someone who doesnīt like to be yelled at and yells back and make her train even though she doesnīt feel like it. She needs to change something. Of course you can say that itīs because sheīs tired, but no matter how tired you are, as a top-player she should be able to win against lower ranked players. Itīs obvious that she lost the fun part about tennis....and my avatar is still not going to change. Spunky83 Apr 8th, 2005, 08:51 PM Well...something to cheer you guys up: Sheīs a brilliant person after all;) From WTATOUR.com: http://www.wtatour.com/global/photogallery/ameliaisland/f_03.jpg AMELIA ISLAND, Florida: Anastasia Myskina was honored Thursday by The Florida Times-Union and Waters Edge Magazine, a Platinum Patron of the 2005 Bausch & Lomb Championships, who each year presents a deserving player with the Commitment to Community Award for their contributions to deserving charities. This year, the award was presented to Anastasia Myskina in recognition of her donation of time and money to help the victims of the Beslan school tragedy last year in Russia. Pictured with Anastasia are (c) a Water's Edge representative and tournament director John Arrix. _LuCaS_ Apr 8th, 2005, 08:51 PM Itīs obvious that she lost the fun part about tennis....and my avatar is still not going to change. This feels like a curse _LuCaS_ Apr 8th, 2005, 09:07 PM i dont think nastya needs time off. i think she needs to play in a lot of matches and then in one, who knows when, there'll be a point where she has to fight and that will get the hunger back. Who knows when that point will come? It's heartbreaking for me the see her crumbling into 2nd,3rd or 4th round of every tourney. No good can come out of this. Take a break Nastya please. Do whatever you want, think it over...this is the way to end your career? In a chain of losses? Remember you're a Grand Slam champion. Or you think that was luck, yourself? Solve the shoulder problem, clear your mind....take all the time you need, I don't care...I'll wait. cerbero Apr 8th, 2005, 09:12 PM Ok...time to re-re-refocuse. Itīs getting scary now. I get back to my two ideas: take time out (I donīt care when), build a house out of wood and stay in it and get a new coach, someone who doesnīt like to be yelled at and yells back and make her train even though she doesnīt feel like it. When you see her in Berlin Spank her for me...I mean hard... miffedmax Apr 8th, 2005, 09:31 PM Dementieva drops out. Nastya goes out 7-6, 7-6. Venus out in three. What a sucky tournament. cerbero Apr 8th, 2005, 09:35 PM Charlton will be better... ;) Spunky83 Apr 8th, 2005, 10:01 PM @Lucas: If she undergoes surgery she will be off for like six months or longer...then it would be a 50/50 percent thing if she ever makes a successful comeback (unfortunately sheīs not a Kim Clijsters;)) @cerbero: Yeah...IF I see her at all in Berlin...she better not lose in the second round! _LuCaS_ Apr 9th, 2005, 08:06 AM @Lucas: If she undergoes surgery she will be off for like six months or longer...then it would be a 50/50 percent thing if she ever makes a successful comeback (unfortunately sheīs not a Kim Clijsters;)) I want what's best for her (health is a priority) so frankly I don't care about the stupid rankings anymore. Shoulder problem solved....plenty of time to see how's life without tennis, and decide if you want to ever comeback. This should tell us how much she loves tennis. She will be back. There's also a catch....Jens could get another girl to coach (I'm counting on this) and trainer problem solved also. Damn if I was her brother or boyfriend... ~|Naomi|~ Apr 9th, 2005, 09:22 AM I want what's best for her (health is a priority) so frankly I don't care about the stupid rankings anymore. Shoulder problem solved.... I don't know the exact nature of Nastya's shoulder injury, but surgery doesn't fix all shoulder problems. Kim had a serious shoulder injury in 2002, and was told shoulder surgery only had a 50% chance of curing it but to go through a strenous rehab program and strengthen the muscles of the shoulder and back and now it is better (not 100% but better than it was). And she could keep playing through it, so maybe Nastya is doing something similar. I'm a little surprised by Nastya's form this year after I saw her start at Hopman. She was hitting the ball so cleanly in her singles then and I thought she was set for a great summer. But I think Nastya can turn things around and still have a good year and make top8 for LA, there are still 3 slams left and several tier 1 events. cerbero Apr 9th, 2005, 10:51 AM She should have brain surgery... kidding...bad joke i know... TheBoiledEgg Apr 9th, 2005, 11:38 AM Nastya, :fiery: very disappointing loss  :banghead: get yourself together girl  Spunky83 Apr 9th, 2005, 11:51 AM http://www.wtatour.com/global/photos_rx/myskina_6538_rx.jpg (...)Myskina donated clothing, toys and money to the Red Cross to help the victims, and also spent time at a Moscow hospital, visiting with eight families who were directly affect by the tragedy.(..) Well...well... Ahhh...regarding to her shoulder: I donīt know. Quote from her 2004 Indian Wells Post-Match Interview after her SF-loss to Justine: You seem to be struggling with your serve tonight? Yeah, I have a little bit pain in my shoulder today. The pain in your shoulder, is it something you had a lot? Not a lot, but sometimes I do have. Yeah, when I play a lot of matches. Itīs the muscle inflamed. Itīs like a sharp pain in your shoulder or a constant ache? Itīs sharp Seriously, I donīt know how she has the courage to play on. That "sharp pain" she refers to is a constant reminder of her shoulder condition (at least it has the effect on me) and if I were a pro and everything depends on my shoulder, I would be scared to hell. She has quite a good chance to have a complete tear and that would keep her off for more than a year. Of course itīs hard to comeback but still itīs even harder to "lose" your whole shoulder. It only gets worse... _LuCaS_ Apr 9th, 2005, 12:46 PM My financial slump is over....thanks to Nastya  I don't want this money, I'll donate them as soon as possible. And of course not everything can be solved with surgery...I know that, but that could be a reason to get away from court for a time. Spunky83 Apr 9th, 2005, 01:05 PM Hey, Dr. Lucas...in a few years, you can be her surgeon...but you donīt want to become a "real" doc anyway;) _LuCaS_ Apr 9th, 2005, 06:19 PM Hey, Dr. Lucas...in a few years, you can be her surgeon...but you donīt want to become a "real" doc anyway;) I'm doing a great job now as your psychiatrist don't you think? Spunky83 Apr 9th, 2005, 06:46 PM I'm doing a great job now as your psychiatrist don't you think? Nahh...I had better ;) _LuCaS_ Apr 9th, 2005, 07:20 PM DId I mention your case is a fierce debate in medical circles? Spunky83 Apr 9th, 2005, 07:35 PM DId I mention your case is a fierce debate in medical circles? My case? I hope you are referring to my shoulder and not about my psycho-freak mind;) Anyway, today was a good day, as I was able to sleep without pain. I wanted more... goldenlox Apr 10th, 2005, 04:33 PM Obviously, this is a great draw if she plays well. But that's always the question. Almalyk Apr 10th, 2005, 09:37 PM It is a good draw, but the draw doesn't matter anyway. She needs to play at a much higher level. RG is closing in, and Nastya's form better pick up! jmcfarla Apr 10th, 2005, 10:01 PM I think it's a fairly difficult draw. I know she has avoided Lindsay/Venus/Justine. But Nicole in the 2nd round would be a real challenge, against a young player with a great serve, who is having a good year, improving with each match, and is playing without fear. Past Nicole, Nastya may have to play Asagoe followed by Patty. Two players who have already beaten her this year. Of course if Nastya clicks into gear this is the perfect opportunity to get the season going and gain some revenge on those who have beaten her this year. ;) But the problem is she isn't going to get any easy games, so she has to be on right from the word go. Then again at least she shouldn't get bored.:yeah: cerbero Apr 10th, 2005, 10:09 PM These are good test players but if she can't beat them... _LuCaS_ Apr 11th, 2005, 11:39 AM Usually revenge is sweet...she should take advantage of these oportunities. Past Nicole, Nastya may have to play Asagoe followed by Patty. Two players who have already beaten her this year. At a Tier I, this is a nice draw. Nichole was at Tier III Memphis, and did little. Spunky83 Apr 11th, 2005, 04:12 PM Ups...I just saw that Vaidisova is playing Peer (!) right now for a match against Nastya... Just imagine Peer coming through, Nastya winning again and then third round vs Asagoe...WHAT IS THIS?!? Help, I feel a little bit paranoid! Epigone Apr 11th, 2005, 04:21 PM Nichole was at Tier III Memphis, and did little.Yeah, she lost 7-6(8) 7-6(6) to Shaughnessy in the SF. An absolutely pathetic display by the 15 year old  Nastya needs to start out strong in matches, and not let up until the end. She can't afford to get distracted. goldenlox Apr 11th, 2005, 04:27 PM Yeah, she lost 7-6(8) 7-6(6) to Shaughnessy in the SF.Yeah, she lost to Meghann in 2. That's a good opponent at a Tier I. Spunky83 Apr 11th, 2005, 04:28 PM Peer second round (whoīs right now one set up), Asagoe third round...itīs like an act of nature beyond control  Seriously...how creepy is that? The odds for this constellation must have been like 1:100000 (ok, maybe this is too far stretched). This is a sign, Nastya!!! The all-mighty gives you the chance to make up for last week  ...and I think I really need to be institutionalized... :silly: goldenlox Apr 11th, 2005, 04:32 PM It's all on Anastasia's racket. More free time  She's trying something different :woohoo: Change is good  Spunky83 Apr 11th, 2005, 05:26 PM Yep...I was really glad when I saw that Vera was going to play with Golovin this week. Nastya doesnīt need playing doubles, besides going to the net on clay is not that useful and her shoulder can rest a bit. Oh...Vaidisova/ Peer third set after Peer couldnīt convert match point...ohhh... maybe Nastya wonīt have to face her "oh so boring" opponent after all;) goldenlox Apr 11th, 2005, 05:28 PM I hope she plays Peer again. It's Vaidisova. A big server. Anastasia should win. But I've been wrong about that before. _LuCaS_ Apr 11th, 2005, 06:10 PM So she plays Nicole. She's a big server, at 15 years old? wow Spunky83 Apr 11th, 2005, 06:11 PM Oh no...!!! I wanted Nastya to have the chance to make up for last week by beating all the players she had trouble against in the last couple of weeks (Goldenloxīs list)...well Asagoe and Schnyder would be nice too. However, Vaidisova is one of those typical female Bollettieri-students...hitting the crap out of the ball (not as bad as others though). Sometimes it goes in, sometimes not...of course I hope it wonīt go in;) goldenlox Apr 11th, 2005, 06:13 PM I just want Anastasia to get on a hot streak. This Tier I is a great place for it. Then Patty. Then Lena. Works for me (esp. if Lena wins  ) I hope they both do well. Epigone Apr 11th, 2005, 06:55 PM Vera and Golovin are losing. So skipping doubles was good. What kind of logic is that? Bepa and Tati have never played together before, so there are probably lots of breakdowns in communications. Had Bepa and Nastya played together, they might be leading right now goldenlox Apr 11th, 2005, 07:23 PM The logic is to try something different. No doubles this week. Golovin and Vera both won majors in mixed. Something's wrong somewhere. So try to change your schedule. Try something. selyoink Apr 11th, 2005, 07:43 PM I hope there is no letdown against Vaidisova.
