I've only seen 2.5 Men a few times, and it has seemed like a stale joke, pretty one-dimensional. In it's day, I watched Friends a lot.

So, Friends.

Friends. I won't ever go out of my way to watch Two and a Half Men. I only really like the mother, Berta and Rose. I was never particularly fond of the main characters. Now that Ashton Kutcher is coming in, it'll probably just be worse.

Friends! One of my favorite shows ever. So many great moments and lines. Quality dropped off toward the end, but seasons 5-7 were especially good.

Two and a Half Men is too one-dimensional, and Friends has been played to death.

So neither. :)

Friends has been played to death, but the Smelly Cat music video would never come out of Two and a Half Men.

Neely called me the other day for career advice, I told her I could get her the understudy job for Charlie Sheen's new autobiographical play. Brilliant, right? Neely called me a foul four-letter word starting with "c" and hung up. Helen still has it, right?

Let's redeem this terrible thread by posting things that are actually funny. HIMYM was a good start. I'll add another: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Charlie is amazing.

(Just to clarify, I'm not shitting on Friends. Friends was fine. I'm shitting on that other show, that should not be included amongst things which are actually funny)

Friends by far.

Ive watched Two and a half men a few times and its dreadful. I've never understood why certain comedies do well in the states like 2 and a half men, Everybody Loves Raymond and Seinfeld *shudder*

ewww, Everybody Loves Raymond was horrible. :sobbing:
I have never sat through a whole episode of two and a half men. All the characters are just really annoying to me, and not in a funny kind of way.

At least Seinfeld had comedic moments that are note worthy. Friends was just a stupid show about a group of people banging each other with the unbelievably annoying, Courtney Cox, the one hit quit dog, Jennifer Anniston and 3 other wastes of space who if wouldn't know a comedy if it walk up and nutted in their eye. I like Lisa Kudrow and feel for her for having to carry 5 talentless hacks with her for so long.
