I thought the same. :sobbing: But the title was a give-away. 'Bombshell' titles are never really bombshells. :p

She should have retired at this tournament, not at Wimbledon.

She said in an interview that she only plays because she got the direct entry now. She wouldn't have taken a WC, because the young girls should get them. :)

All the best.

That was more than expected, it would be a bit "stupid" to not play her last tournament on her home soil.

Sybille should make "one-off" returns in all tourneys Serena enters just for trolling purposes :oh:

Bad Gastein is definitely the last tournament for Sybille. :tears:

The last few weeks Sybille always said she wanted to play Bad Gastein. BUT only if she gets directly into MD with her ranking. She did not want to take a WC away from young Austrian talents. Sevastova withdrew, so Sybille got lucky and got into MD. Now she can play her last tournament in her home country.

That's really nice that she made it in. Glad she can play in her home tournament and hope she does well one last time!
