She won 17 sets in a row, and at Wimbledon had not lost more than 3 games in a set, then suddenly she lost 2 very close sets to a player she usually beats.

I thought Dementieva was a better player than Kuznetsova. But Sveta was better in slam finals.
Its a part of an athlete's makeup. Unless you're an alltime great you only have a few opportunities.
Some of these players, who are very talented, like Jankovic and Safina, just couldnt get their best tennis out there when they had to have it.

But Caro is too young for those discussions yet. And its not relevent in Bastad anyway
