I just started learning the piano last year, at a pretty late age of 25 but having loads of fun with it. Still not very good though :tape:

So who are the musically talented guys out there?

Good for you, it usually takes years to master an instrument so I'm sure you're doing fine :)

I play the piano, violin and alto saxophone.

Keyboards and bass guitar.

Piano, 5 years of lessons as a kid.

I can still play the crap from the books I practiced from back then and can recreate any melody I hear on the radio (without chords and all that) but that's about it.

I also have a Yamaha keyboard with the accompaniment keys which makes it sound better.

I received a guitar as a gift a few years ago but haven't taken the time to learn much.

No, i have an electric guitar i bought about fifteen years ago but i never actually learned to play.

I wish I could play piano and/or guitar. I really like ukulele too.

I honestly think guitar chords are the hardest thing to learn and play ever.

I played trumpet and bassoon in university, and I can play anything that they teach in a standard high school music class. I'm lucky - I pick up instruments really quickly. Essentially, If you can blow into it, I can play it :eek: :angel:

Yeah once you learn a brass instrument, you can play any brass instrument, and likewise with woodwinds. You would have to learn fingerings though, of course.

Piano but I'm not very good at it.

Played guitar a few years ago when it was the cool thing to do :lol: I'm sure I could still remember a few chords now, not much else though.

Piano, clasically trained.. I played a bit of tabla as a kid, but when I saw that I was the only girl in the class, I decided give it up.

Enough guitar to write songs - open chords, a number of barre chords. I'm an adequate, basic bassist.

I'd love to learn piano so I can teach singing though!

I play bass guitar, key board, flute, and drums.

Drums is by far my favorite, I've wanted to play it for years but my mom would never let me until about a year ago. It's the best stress reliever.

Yes, I play the piano :oh: I've been playing for 18 years, since I was 6.

I tried and failed at piano, bass guitar, trombone and tuba. Well, I was actually not too bad on tuba.

My son is a music major who plays saxophone, guitar, bass, keyboards and frankly just about anything he can touch. He didn't get it from me. (But he had great-grandparents who were musicians).
