I can't take it anymore! :crying2: How can they possibly play this ad so much? It is shown during literally EVERY ad break on Channel 7. The worst part is that it's on at all times of the day... There is no escape! I pretty much know the whole thing off by heart... Someone kill me! :hysteric: :hysteric: :hysteric: :hysteric:

Wow. I thought you Aussies were above this kind of thing. :tape: Throw in some rainbow backgrounds and it's almost to Japanese ad-level bad.

My GOD yes! :sobbing: What annoys me the most is the off-key singing. I mean, if you are going to have someone singing in an add, have someone who can actually sing!

I have only seen it on during the tennis, and I have to mute the T.V everytime...

Worst add ever, and we get some pretty shitty adds.

You have embarrassed all aussies by putting this up here
But you have to admit it's pretty catchy! I always find myself randomly singing "down, down prices are down"

Is Coles the department store featured on the Christmas movie Miracle on the 34th street?

I'm surprised I've barely noticed this ad, however they've butchered down town :(

I think that place (in the movie) was called Cole's, not Coles. So fictitious

I hate it that much I am refusing to shop at Coles from now on. I will drive further to get to Woolworths or IGA.
I swear at the TV everytime it is on.

It's so awful it's hilarious. But you guys don't have much to complain about until you've seen the horrible American Old Navy commercials they've been coming up with the past couple of months. :sobbing:

This will be the death of me and I just can't. http://nicksareforkids.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/monique-precious.gif

I had to mute every single ad break during Wimbledon because they played it THAT often and the fact they tried to get somebody "normal" to sing horribly off-key and in that terrible accent just makes it so much more painful.

Swap the index and middle fingers and you're in business.

It's not as bad as this advert I saw in Adelaide. It basically consisted of some man screaming "TWOOOOO DOLLARRRRRRSSSSS!" at you because a lot of things in his shop were two dollars. I've never had such a threatening price cut offer.
