If you could only choose one album to listen to for the rest of eternity which one would it be? :)

Tie between -
A Night at the Opera - Queen
Workingman's Dead - The Grateful Dead

Honorable Mention:
Skeletons From the Closet: The Best of the Grateful Dead [This is a box set but it would tie for 3rd if that's allowed.]

I can forgive all the crappy pop songs on account of this masterpiece.

The number of albums I've listened to is ridiculously small, as I usually don't have the patience to go through them and give them enough thought. Art is overrated anyhow.

My favorite now though is probably Extraordinary Machine - Fiona Apple.

So hard because I love a lot of albums from the 80s, but I really think that Primary Colors by The Horrors will stand the test of time too.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_p_-NYExwC7M/S42rbcuHSuI/AAAAAAAAAWg/XKChroi9OYo/s400/Brothers_in_Arms.jpgWait a minute, you werenīt a football player in the mid to late 80īs, were you? It was quite funny reading interviews with footballers at that time, most of them didnīt seem to know anything about music so when they got asked what their favourite album was they all said Brothers In Arms because it was the only album they knew the name of (maybe along with Bruce Springsteenīs Born In The USA).. It really is a good album, but after hearing my dad play Walk of Life about a million times the summer of 1985 (or maybe it was 1986) i just canīt listen to it any more.

If I had to pick one, probably Radiohead - OK Computer.

Others in the Top 5 would be:

Green Day - American Idiot
Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral
Living Colour - Vivid
Sinead O' Connor - The Lion and the Cobra

Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys. My namesake is also high up there, 28 minutes of perfection.

I'm surprised nobody said my choice yet! Michael Jackson's "Thriller"! My top 3 favorite songs by him are on it- Human Nature, Baby Be Mine and The Lady In My Life!

Not counting greatest hits collections, especially boxed sets (which would kind of violate the spirit of this thread) IF I had to pick only one, probably Rumours by Fleetwood Mac.
