Well, having checked through the draw on the mainframes up here on the bridge of the SS Lena D I can honestly say that aint a bad draw indeed.

Fran is there but the Moo Fuel isnt her surface and Azarenka will most likely have broken by round 2 so a good run could be on the cards.

She has the power for grass so best of luck.....

so she has 3 Qualifiers/LL on her way to 3rd round

The first 3 rounds are really easy, then a battle against Schiavone --> 3rd consecutive GS QF :yeah:

Let's see much more of it at Wimbledon.

finally andrea has reached the 2nd riund of every grand slam after poor attempts in wimbledon before: she lost in the first and secound round of qualifying as high seeded player and last tyear in the first round

but fortunately,she won't have a wimbledoncareer like grönefeld:lol:

Followed that from up here on the bridge of the SS Lena D and I have to say it was almost like watching one of the golden godesses matches herself, plenty of stress..
However, the girl done good and a tough win is often whats needed to progress, plus, lets not forget that Dubois played some great tennis too, she wasnt going to make it easy for Petko.
Where was the Hula dance?? ah well, guess it was getting late.

So, keep it going Miss Petkovic please....

matthias

Dubois played some good stuff, and she served really well in the 2nd Set.
Thanks god Petko battled trough.
But Petko has really no clue how to play on grass
she was way to passive imo, and need to add more variations to improve on the green stuff.
but like Carsten said "a win is a win"

and she signed a deal with "Gerolsteiner" :)

a victory against Pervak could move her into top10 for the first time, but not 100% sure since Radwanska and Kuznetzova etc. could catch up to her with a good run

Sveta's road ends in R4 against Kvitty and A-Rad has to take care of Ana before she can even think about upsetting Lisicki or Li. Of course Sexa won't roll over in R4 for Petko either. All 3 will probably make it to R4 and then get into real trouble for the first time. I see all 3 going out, to be honest. And then I believe Petko will get her #10 spot, right?

with 4R Petko would be 20 points ahead of Stosur
and then Radwanska would need SF, and Sveta would need at least QF.
I canīt see Radwanska going to SF and Sveta in QF, but you never know.
all lower ranked players would need Final or even to win the whole thing

Petko need to win her 3rd Round first, but itīs for sure a great opportunity to reach Top10!

Not surprised about the loss, this is obviously her worst surface. No top 30 material on the green stuff.

:(
just saw the end of the 1st set, and Petko was again very passive and gave the control of the rallies to Pervak.
Petko seems to have zero confidenceinto her game on grass.
Well she missed a great opportunity witht his Draw, but on the other Hand 3rd round is better then nothing.
