Stosur is normally very poor on grass, because her two big weapons (serve and forehand) are so topspin-heavy that they don't do much damage on grass. Conventional wisdom dictates this should be Bartoli's match to lose... but then, conventional wisdom also dictated Zvonareva should've easily beaten Stosur today, so... :unsure:

well, Vera always mentally drained against Stosur. Unlike Marion, whose only weaknesses are cakes and Pierce Brosnan.

Sam has the game for grass. She can flatten out her serve and come to the net more. But she doesn't seem to embrace it that much.

On the other hand, Marion is a natural on the surface. Cake it is.

Sam in 3..I've seen sam play at her best VS Bartoli....Sam can sometimes get scary (look good) on the court. I see her winning it...but who knows.

If Bartoli can handle Stosur serve, and she usually handles big serves very well, she's got a very good chance of winning this. Bartoli plays too flat, too quick for Sam on this surface.
