Welcome to Strasbourg, France! As final preparations are made for the second major of the year, Roland Garros, many doubles teams head to the nearby city of Strasbourg, also in France to make sure they're ready to step it up on the big stage. Though the second seeds, Natalie Grandin and Vladimira Uhlirova, have played together regularly this year, some of the others top teams in the Strasbourg draw, such as top seeds Lucie Hradecka and Sania Mirza, as well as fourth seeds Akgul Amanmuradova and Chia-Jung Chuang have certainly proven their doubles prowess individually, but have not had so much experience with their partners this week, which means that things will be interesting to see which players adjust to their partners best. One darkhorse team could be Mirjana Lucic, who continues her return to doubles, partnering American doubles specialist Mashona Washington this week. With these teams and twelve more in action, competition in Strasbourg should be exciting as the French Open looms. Vote now as the Internationaux de Strasbourg kicks off!
