I only recently discovered him last year when Kanye sampled a work of his on the last song of his album. The bit Kanye sampled was incredible. It was deep! I don't know if this is the full piece but here is the song.

RIP Gil. And while your name wasn't widely famous, the phrase: "The revolution will not be televised" certainly was. :hatoff:
